We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandra Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandra, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
One thing people don’t realize about the beauty industry is how much work goes into it beyond the treatments themselves. I spend several hours each week practicing and perfecting my brow patterns, plus over 10 hours managing social media, replying to messages, and keeping everything running smoothly. It’s a mix of creativity and organization, and while it can be a lot, I love every part of it!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My work is about helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I put a lot of attention to detail and care into every service. Building my business happened naturally, it took a few mistakes, and some learning along the way but I’ve stayed consistent and dedicated to giving each client good results, so it’s naturally grown. Luckily I’ve been able to surround myself with like minded people who have definitely inspired me. Mink Brow is all about empowering others to feel their best, and I’m proud of the passion and artistry behind it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My family comes to visit often! Some of my favorite spots are the Huntington Library, Anaheim Packing House, the beaches in Laguna and hanging out in Long Beach where I live.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shoutout to my early clients, the ones who trusted me with their brows before I had the portfolio I have today. Thanks to them I was able to gain the experience I needed as a new brow artist. I also want to thank Sara Garcia for offering me a place to start! And of course my family for letting me do their brows!
