Meet Ana Salles | Founder, Head of Creative & Strategist @ MAGIA

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Salles and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ana, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from São Paulo, Brazil—a vibrant, bustling hub of culture. It’s a place teeming with art, music, and a real sense of community. Growing up there taught me the importance of solidarity and generosity, and it’s something I bring into every part of my work. The energy and diversity of the city really shaped who I am today—a creative who thrives in vibrant, dynamic environments.

What should our readers know about your business?
Magia Creative stands out through its dedication to empowering organizations committed to positive societal and environmental impact. We specialize in crafting digital marketing strategies that not only promote business success but also foster meaningful change, particularly in wellness, sustainability, and digital innovation.
Building Magia wasn’t easy. It involved overcoming significant challenges by adapting strategies and learning from each setback. The journey taught me the power of authenticity and the impact of aligning a brand’s mission with its market presence.
Magia Creative is more than just a consultancy; it’s a catalyst for transformation. We’re here to help businesses not only succeed but also enact positive change. Each project is a step toward a future where businesses are forces for good, creativity drives impactful solutions, and everyone has the opportunity to contribute to a healthier, more equitable world.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite spots in LA is the West Side—I’m all about those beach vibes! If my best friend were visiting, we’d kick off with a morning hike in Topanga, followed by a cozy brunch at a charming local café. Maybe pick up some fresh goodies at the farmer’s market or Erewhon for a picnic on Malibu beach.
In the afternoon, we’d bike along the coast down to Venice Beach, soaking up the sun and sea air. We’d stroll around Abbot Kinney to check out some cool designer stores, and wind down the day with a soothing breathwork and sound meditation session at Open, in Venice.
For dinner, instead of going out, I’d whip up a delicious meal with the fresh produce we got earlier—it’s the perfect end to a perfect day!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It’s truly difficult to pinpoint just one person when I think about the tapestry of support that has shaped my journey. I’ve been fortunate to have incredible mentors who have not only guided me professionally but also encouraged me personally. Practices like Kundalini yoga, Vipassana, and dancing have kept me grounded and focused, providing a center of calm and clarity amidst the whirlwind of career challenges.
A special shoutout goes to my big sister, who supported my big move to the United States, and my friends, particularly Magda, who have been pillars of strength in tough times, reminding me of the power of community and genuine connections. And of course, my dad, who, despite the distance, has always been my best friend and a constant source of support whenever I needed it most.
On a virtual front, Jay Shetty’s insights were pivotal at the start of my personal development journey, offering guidance and inspiration that helped me navigate through life’s complexities. These individuals and experiences have not just influenced my career; they’ve enriched my life in countless ways.
