We had the good fortune of connecting with Aneiszka and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aneiszka, what do you want people to remember about you?
Wow, this is such a great question, and I am so grateful to be able to answer it. I think that when I think about the concept of legacy, it’s not really pertaining to the physical world. When I think about legacy, I think about the feeling, the emotion, or the freedom that it’s my ability to leave people with. And I think that’s why I got into entertainment in the first place. The ability to open people up to new world, ways of thought, or different perspectives, it’s absolutely invaluable to me. There’s a sense of freedom and greatness about it. And I think that’s what I want to leave people with, to be felt understood, to be heard, and to feel loved. I want people to remember that I am kind, I am strong, and I choose to care for others and myself through my art. And hopefully it reaches a lot of people, and it means something to them, and it opens up their heart to new depths and emotions. And that brings them love within themselves. Because that can change the world.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been very pursuant of all forms of art. I have written poetry and stories, danced, sang, acted in plays, drawn, and played instruments. My imagination was immense and I loved any opportunity to use it. Now, I just focus on being a model, actress, and recording artist. Though I do still enjoy writing poetry, stories, and utilizing that skill with my music. I really think that’s what sets me apart as an artist, is my versatility and ability to really immerse myself in ALL aspects of whatever art it is that I am currently pursuing. I love to learn, and think that that is one of the great things about life. That you actually never stop learning no matter how old you are or how much you already know. Right now I’m pretty excited to be releasing new music, and though I am fairly new in that realm, I’m incredibly grateful that I can bring my acting experience to work hand-in-hand with it. I love creating stories for my music videos, and bringing real emotion to my lyrics and performances. This career path definitely hasn’t been an easy road, and I really believe that anything worth doing is not going to come easy. You cannot just think things into existence; it takes many years of hard work and unending belief in yourself to get to where you want to go. This industry also takes a lot of perseverance, which I have been blessed to be very stubborn since birth! I think that has been a huge help in keeping me moving forward through all of life’s ups and downs. And I plan to keep on going. I think with a great support system, a strong team around you, and the power to know who you are within yourself and what you want, you can truly get anywhere. And that’s really all you need. Love, community, and belonging. It’s sharing the great moments in life with important people around you that is what life is really about. That’s not to say you won’t have your moments where you’re down on the ground praying for help, but as long as you get back up and keep moving towards those high points, I don’t think you can fail. Life is like a heartbeat, if it didn’t have ups and downs you would flatline. At least, that is what a wise acting teacher once told me. And I’ve held onto it ever since.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have to say, since I am an avid horse rider, one of my favorite things to do is take people riding in Griffith Park. Another thing I love doing with friends is taking them to some of the beautifully remote beaches here in California. I also love to share (in person)some of my favorite wooded hiking spots, which are totally a secret! So I can’t share those with you yet… So if you can’t tell, I’m still a country girl at heart. I was born and raised in Vermont until I was a teenager, at which point I moved to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. And then from there I moved here to California. So most of what I love to do is outdoors! And I don’t think that will really ever change. So if you wanna come hang around me, you better like fresh air, sunshine, and a little bit of these beautiful woods!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes, I think that along the way it has been such a journey for me. With so many ups and downs, it has been so important to have similar hearts close to yours in the form of family and friends. One of those friends for me would be Cara Mia. She is a painter, writer, sculptor and overall a beautiful artist.
