Meet Angela Sol Rose | Psychic, Medium, Channel, Ceremonialist & Teacher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angela Sol Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Angela, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
To be courageous. Well, I might be cheating a bit here because although this started as a single decision, it’s actually a decision I make over and over. I will say, generally speaking it gets easier every time! To me, being courageous isn’t so much about mustering up of energy, pushing through fear or uncertainty or being willful. But like the etymology of the word it’s rooted in being and acting from the heart. When I am coming from my heart, from courage and willing to put in the action, I feel a sense of faith in my decisions and path, a peace and a knowing. This gives me also a sense of acceptance for however things may work out. If something doesn’t have great results, okay fine, we try something else, be patient or rework it and if it does well, fabulous. What better place to be than offering from a place of heart and be well received?
To me, people recognize heart and want to engage with businesses from this place. They want authenticity, they want to feel the creative pulse and energy of life. The marketing strucutres work and can be leveraged for this aim but if you fall out of the center of the heart, you lose connection with the pulse of creativity and life. And that cannot last or give you fulfillment. (imho)
For me, pretty much every time I have been courageous, I am met with success and moreover it’s reflected that I am doing good. I’ve also noticed an almost proportional relationship to courage and success/good.
I’ve been doing this work for over 14 years and it’s honestly hard to pinpoint my first decision of courage. But I’ll share one that stands out. When I decided to offer my first gallery style mediumship. I stood in front of about 35 people and brought through the messages of their passed loved ones. I wanted to throw up beforehand. I was the most nervous I can recall being in a long time! I called on my courage, I did by best to stay in my heart, stay in service and trust. It went very well and opened many doors.
Courage has also given me the endurance and trust to see something through. When I started my mentoring container, there was a slow trickle of clients. It took courage just to put it out there but more to stick with it, keep polishing it and nurturing it’s growth. Now it’s my favorite and most successful offering and I might say seems to create the most growth in my clients.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The aim of my work is to heal (or create wholeness) and reconnect people with their soul, with the Divine. I work as a psychic reader, channel, medium and healer. I hold ceremony. I am a spiritual teacher and mentor. I love teaching about psychic development and dream medicine. My way of seeing things and engaging with others as a business and as a human is centered in doing good in a way that’s healthy and sustainable for me and my family.
Although my field is gaining popularity, by nature my work is set apart. There’s still a lot of stigma, judgment and fear connected to my line of work. I’ve found that one of the things I’m able to bring is an ability to bridge the gap for folks reaching many with my depth of authenticity and the blend of the grounded humanity and mystical spirituality. My connection with spirit is really strong and always has been. I’ve had really powerful, undeniable mystical and spiritual experiences since a young age continuing to this day. Yet, I think the expression of true spirituality is grounded in truth and being fully present in the human experience. What good is it if people can’t relate? There’s beauty in the simplest of human interactions. My ability or willingness to be be fully out there in my spiritual awareness and also dive as fully as possibly into my humanity has been key. I bring this depth of humanity and spiritually to all I do in my work and it’s had such a transformative power in both my work, success and in the people I work with.
In our culture, I think many of us are geared towards fast results and overnight success. Not to say it’s not possible but like the story of the tortoise and hare, I’ve found in my work that it’s the slow and steady path that has the best and most wholesome results. This was an important lesson for me. Once I eased the I put on myself to perform, to be the best right away, to know it all, to be perfect, to hurry or to match another(comparison) everything was easier and more successful. From this place I am able to be in authentic relationship with my business offering from my heart, intellect, creativity and wisdom.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d be remiss if I didn’t first acknowledge and thank the Divine, the Creator, the Goddess, the unseen beings and forces of love and truth that have been my greatest teachers… and this great experience of life I get to live!
There have been key people who have allowed that force of good and the divine to move through them in support of me and my path. I’d like to thank Heléna Kate Siner, Katherine Glass and my mother Bethanne. For their love and care, their ability to see the seeds of my potential, their willingness to nurture and teach, to hold a torch, to share, to allow the divine to move through them and their trust in me. To my mother especially for her independence, protection and love.
I’m grateful to my friends, especially Aria Everts who’s embodiment of light is astounding. Thank you for all the ways you’ve opened doors for me, offered your heart, your ear, your wisdom.
Thanks to my children, who catapulted me on a profound journey of depth and learning and without whom my work would be far less informed, patient and trusting.
Thank you to those who have provided challenge and resistance, especially my past partners. While not always an enjoyable journey, I have learned so much.
Thank you to mama Gaia for your tender holding of my body and my consciousness. Thank you for the medicines you provide and for all I have been honored to learn about natural healing. Thank you for the great connection and wisdom from the plant, fungi and animal spirits.
Thank you to death, birth and transformation for teaching me how to heal, for teaching the ways of the Goddess.
