We had the good fortune of connecting with Armani Maison and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Armani, what principle do you value most?
Remember to nurture your creativity every day. Whether it’s through writing, drawing, painting, designing, making music, learning new techniques, or expanding your perspective, these activities all contribute to a deeper understanding of life and ultimately finding out who you are.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love art and its impact on my life embracing different shades of my own emotions and experiences.

I used to see art as a one-way street – either you get it or you don’t. But over time, it has become a journey of self-discovery.

It has helped me accept flaws and turn them into beauty, shedding light for many who think they can’t. It’s more about emotional intelligence than skill, in my opinion. This is essentially my therapy – I get to have that conversation with myself being vulnerable enough to dissect my obstacles and face them head on. That’s why most of my work is portrait-driven, but I’m expanding my ways as I live.

Like I’ve mentioned in an interview before I’m self-taught and started not knowing what I was doing or how I should be doing it I just wanted to start.
Later I realized knowing it all is overrated doing it by the book is not my cup of tea I get people who ask me how to start or how they get a style like mine.. I just encourage them to just do it and have fun look into creating something more from a different perspective than from the societal lens change the frequency and watch it all unravel.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Man I’m either painting hooping designing or staying home but if I’m with the crew we playing pool at brick then playing gun-game back at the crib the ideal kick in it night

The weeklong trip I’m gonna be a real gatekeeper on this lol. I’ll tell ya in person if I see ya.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yeah, I’d love to shout out the people who keep me inspired my boys Raph, Ari, and Axl genius creatives in general we keep each other on our toes trying to create and learn every day pushing the envelope one step at a time.

More creatives like Marcus Charles, The homie Drew(HFW), the homie Julian, Jay Anthony, Ivan, Augustus, and James list goes on I’ve met so many creative people I always let them know that when I see their work, it inspires me and drives me on how a creative community should be thriving.

Of course, my family my brothers my friends Vinny, Cam, Nate, Jah, Mason, the whole “Dafam.” crew kept me going especially when I was in the mud they helped me maintain my peace.
