We had the good fortune of connecting with Bri steck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bri, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Vegas Girls Night Out grew out of public demand and the realization that they wasn’t anything like it in the market.
I originally opened a pole dancing class called Night School 4 Girls (we still have it today) and created a couple of party packages. My customers loved the party packages and were requesting more options.
Growing up in Vegas and coming from the PR/Marketing industry has led me to A LOT of contacts. I then garnered those relationships to receive incredible rates that I pass on to my customers in the form of party packages or a la carte options.
I knew that pre making the packages with the most desired options would make the party planning process easy and affordable for my customers. We’ve all tried planning girls trips/bachelorette parties and it can be a nightmare; i wanted to make it as easy as possible.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I wanted to create a travel website that offered packages instead of just single items. Planning your trip to Vegas can be overwhelming, especially if you are trying to do it with a large group. Creating pre-made packages and offering custom package options allows a easier planning process for our customers with our one stop shop!
There have definitely been challenges along the way. I’m in a predominately male industry, so gaining respect in that world has been interesting…to say the least.
Covid has definitely been the biggest challenge I’ve ever experienced. In March of 2020 Vegas completely shut down and even though we have a strict no refund policy, i felt the right decision was to refund everyone. Unfortunately this could’ve been detrimental to my business causing it to close forever. I completely drained all of my accounts without any sign of recovery.
Our rapid shutdown also forced me to fire my social and pr teams, which meant I was back to day 1 of literally doing it all. I took this time to focus on my social media and what I discovered was that making my socials more personal and engaging was so much better. It was also the time that TikTok became the “it” social media platform and I jumped at the opportunity to find my niche.
Taking on every aspect of my business has allowed me to trouble shoot our booking process and find ways to simplify a lot of our backend processes. The additional silver lining is that because I took over my social media and had more time on my hands, I was listening directly to the customers to hear what they wanted us to offer. It was incredible that I had my very own focus group and because of this, we’ve added 2 new pages on our website included a co-ed page and a couples page, as well as 5 new packages, 10 new a la carte options including bottle service, open bars, new restaurants and so much more. to come.
It’s incredible the amount of business that I’m getting from Instagram and TikTok. I’ve been able to brig back both of my long time employees and I think we are only going to grow.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would wait for Resorts World to open so we can stay and play there. From Nightclubs, dayclubs, shows, speakeasies and so much more…. There will be so many fun things to do on property, I really can’t wait.
Since we have an entire week, I would definitely do a few of our packages including “you’re so fancy” and “picture perfect”, as well as fit in Thunder From Down Under and Absinthe.
I would also fit in a day trip to the Grand canyon, cuz you know…gotta see the sites too! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout definitely goes to my husband who is not only the best life partner, but my biggest cheerleader and encourager.
He’s a very successful business man that has a lot more experience in business than I do, so i definitely value his opinion and advice.
