We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Seaberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianna, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Growing up, I’ve always been a creative. Whether that meant putting on a performance for my parents in the living room, attending theatre summer camps for many years, or taking art classes, I’ve always been involved in the arts. My dad is an architect that creates custom dream homes, hand draws all of his own designs, and is an artist and writer as well. I would attribute my main love for the arts to him because he is the one who inspired me to keep pursuing creative endeavors. In addition to this, almost everything I did in my free time as a child was related to the arts: I’d go to improv classes after school, dance classes, art workshops, and even use the family camcorder to film home videos of myself. After attending Dreyfoos School of the Arts (a performing arts high school in South Florida), I knew that I wanted to continue my creative passions into college and beyond. This is main reason why I chose to attend the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where I study both in the Communication and the Film school. Attending USC in these creative areas has once again confirmed my desire to pursue a creative career, specifically within the entertainment and social media industries. I still have a love and passion for the arts and for creativity, and I plan to use that passion in my future work endeavors. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of entertainment and social media, in addition to social media content creation, film production, and digital marketing as well.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I create lifestyle and college video and photo content primarily on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. What sets me apart from others is that I create very engaging, colorful, and creative content that is catching to the eye and resonates with viewers. I have been a content creator on social media since middle school, so this has been a side passion project of mine for over 7 years. Over the past 7 years, consistency, having mentors in this space, in addition to being part of the USC REACH Social Media Club has got me where I am today. A big lesson that I learned along the way is that it is so important to never give up on your dream. I worked so hard for many years to get to the number of followers and brand deals that I am able to have today, and I kept going until I reached my goals. I want the world to know that I want to inspire others through my social media and be a creative storyteller that makes a positive difference in all of my follower’s lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting LA, I would take them to In n Out for lunch, since I’m obsessed with their burgers and fries. For dessert or a snack, I would take them to B Sweet Bakery for the best bread pudding in LA. A hike in the Hollywood hills would also be very fun and great exercise and would be complimented with a healthy salad from Sweetgreen. A day in Malibu would also be essential to go to the beach and have brunch at Malibu Farm. At night, a nice Italian dinner at Maccheroni Republic would be ideal in addition to fro-yo from The Big Chill. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would first like to shoutout my parents for always encouraging me to follow my dreams. In addition to this, my dad has always been a creative and has inspired me to pursue an artistic and creative career so I also would like to thank him for putting me on this creative path. My mom has also helped me with so much, from reviewing contracts for brand deals to helping me take photographs for a shoot, I am so thankful for her as well. USC REACH, which is the University of Southern California’s only social media club also has played a monumental role in my journey because I’ve been able to meet and network with such amazing peers who are passionate about social media and entertainment.
