We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Pak and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Of course, each of our situation is different, which leads to different perspectives. So this is just my own perspective. And I would much rather use “Walk away” instead of “give up”. I believe “Being able to walk away without having any regret” is a special privilege given to only those few who gave his or her best. Sometimes, “Your Best” isn’t enough to achieve your dream for whatever reasons such as Bad timing, Pandemic, Strong opponents, lack of finance, and etc….., & it is okay. Because Life isn’t a 100 meter dash… rather it is a long journey, and as long as you’ve learned a few lessons during your 1st failed attempt, perhaps, you can work on it to capitalize on your 2nd attempt. However, before you decide to walk away… ask yourself a question. “Are you absolutely certain that you gave your best & can walk away with a smile?”
What inspired you to be on your current journey?
“Life can be funny” is the best way to describe our long & eventful journey for the last 10 years. It has been quite an interesting one & if you are ever curious, please visit our Instagram account (Sandast) to view our Journey from day 1.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Depends on the season of her visit…. but a weekend cruise along “Pacific Coast Highway” all the way to Santa Barbara would be a “Must” Within the City, A visit to Broad Museum during the day & an Orange Juice or a Cocktail at the Intercontinental Downdown Lounge, and her choice of cuisine for dinner in many wonderful restaurants near by sounds ideal.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank God & my children for giving me the strength to continue my journey…. and all Sandast Ambassadors who have generously supported us from our early days of our Journey.
