Meet Daniela Baldwin Vega: Social Media Strategist & Founder of Leo Social

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniela Baldwin Vega and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniela, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk is essential to living a fulfilled life. It’s a scary thing – what ultimately gets me through taking a risk is knowing that the outcome will always pay off. Wether that is a massive win or a lesson you can learn from.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a freelance social media manager and founder of Leo Social – a boutique social media agency that specializes in helping beauty and lifestyle brands thrive on social media. I’ve been in the social media space for four years an have helped numerous brands connect with their ideal audiences and cultivate communities online.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Newport Beach – a predominantly young city in Orange County. It’s a fun beach town with a lot to offer and do. Going on a Duffy boat on a summer day is my favorite thing to do with someone who is visiting. The sight seeing is incredible and its a fun experience being able to dock at one of the restaurants on the water and have a boozy brunch. I currently love having brunch at Shorebird and would recommend it to anyone!Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Reading self development books has completely changed the trajectory of my life and the way that I think about myself. Success starts with believing that you can achieve your goals and dreams – but that’s not always as easy as it sounds. Being in that headspace where you are able to gain that confidence is definitely a lot of work and something I am constantly working on. Once I started the work on shifting my mindset my life began to change for the better. There are a couple of books that I recommend to everyone looking to kickstart their self development journey. Here are some recommendations: – You Are A Bad Ass by Jen Sincero – The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson – Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert I also need to give credit to my family and friends that consistently support me and push me to pursue my dreams. Having a strong support group is definitely a key component when it comes to reaching your goals.
