We had the good fortune of connecting with Daryl Arnold and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daryl, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write but those who cannot learn unlearn and relearn.
Lot of us have learned so many things we may have to learn differently to become better equipped for life. Not letting the ego creep in or being complacent.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I work in education in finance. I have a strong focus of bringing financial literacy to our communities and empowering people through teaching them how money works. For example, how to save, invest, how taxes work, etc.… All the things we should learn in school to be successful in life.
The other area is business and entrepreneurship. I teach and support people to build successful businesses. I provide them with the leadership and development tools needed to become successful entrepreneurs.
What separates me from others is I talk to anyone and in a language they can understand regardless where you coming from. No family or business left behind. Im clear and easy to talk to. I like to teach this in a way a baby can understand. This business has taught be how to get out of my comfort zone. Learning how to continue to work not just on my craft but my mindset as well. Being organized, balancing life and work. Understanding customers needs and wants to the T.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my go to places to eat is Simply Wholesome, Rachel Vegan Ethiopian spot, Sage Bistro, Bossa Nova, Leinart Park on Sundays or Vegan Festival on Sundays in North Hollywood. I usually see what’s going on in the area like the Grove, Santa Monica or surrounding areas to go hiking or a comedy show or something of that nature.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My story starts with my family and close friends who instilled greatness in me. My wife is one i have to accredit much to the growth of me. I want to be better for her to love her properly. Give her what she needs and want. Seeing her continue to grow and still support me its amazing. She is phenomenal words can’t give justice.
