We had the good fortune of connecting with David Toledo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency has been the biggest factor. I treated every event, big or small, like it mattered. I focused a lot on preparation, organization, and details that most people overlook. Over time, that built trust with clients and vendors, and that trust is what allowed the business to grow.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I officially started my business in 2018, although before that I was already doing small events here and there. At that time, I was at a crossroads either keep looking for another job and stay stuck in the same cycle, or take a real risk and go all in on a dream that, honestly, no one believed in except me. I chose to bet on myself.

Since I already had experience working in nightclubs and restaurants, the transition into private events felt natural at first. I started small simple tables, basic bars, no heavy focus on aesthetics. But as the bookings increased, I made a conscious decision to reinvest everything back into the business. Investing became one of the biggest keys to my growth. Every time the business made money, I upgraded equipment, improved presentation, and raised my standards. As the quality increased, so did the value and pricing.

What started as one event slowly turned into ten events in a single Saturday, then entire weekends with fifteen or more events. That growth required me to step into leadership and build a team. Over time, I went from working alone to managing and staffing up to 34 people at once. Customer service has always been a major part of that growth treating every client with care, professionalism, and respect helped turn events into long term relationships.

One of the biggest challenges early on was balance. Other jobs couldn’t work around my schedule, especially since weekends were the busiest time for my business. Eventually, I had to make the difficult decision to walk away from everything else and focus 100% on my own company. That full commitment is what allowed the business to grow to where it is today.

I want the world to know that my brand is built on belief, reinvestment, consistency, and hard work. My journey wasn’t overnight, and it wasn’t easy but it’s proof of what can happen when you fully commit to your vision and refuse to give up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since I live in Anaheim, I’d start by showing them around Disneyland, then take them to some local Anaheim spots to eat that really represent the area. I’d also show them a little bit of Orange County and Los Angeles good food, good vibes, and just enjoying the city. Simple, fun, and very SoCal.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to thank everyone who believed in me from the very beginning especially the clients who trusted me and booked me when I was just getting started. That early support meant everything and helped me build real momentum.

I also want to thank my girlfriend, who has been there through thick and thin, always believing in me even during the most challenging moments.

I’m incredibly grateful for my team , my bartenders who show up, represent the brand with professionalism, and help deliver the premium experience we promise at every event.
