Hi Daydria, how does your business help the community?
My business is “Medical Bills Auditing Service, LLC” MBAS is a patient focused service company that audits patients’ medical bills for accuracy and true liability to ensure they are accurate and free from billing errors before they pay them. I specialize in saving the patient money on Out-of-Pocket expenses and/or obtaining a refund on excessive medical billing, also to protect from fraud and abuse.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
There’s a total dysfunction in the American healthcare system, it’s out of control with fraud, abuse and inflated prices.

I have been a medical biller, coder, and collector for over 22 years. During this time span, I have seen too many times where the patient is being billed for things they should not be billed for due to human clerical errors and lack of knowledge. So, this is what has started me on my journey.

My mission is to bring awareness to the consumer and the medical provider the seriousness of the excessive medical billing epidemic by being the liaison between the patient, the provider and the insurance carrier so we can all work together on one accord and not against one another to resolve claims issues.

MY vision is to turn the (patient) excessive billing situation around for the ENTIRE healthcare industry by being the liaison between the 3 Ps.

In today’s complex healthcare environment, seldom does anyone work on behalf of the patient when it comes to medical bills, hospital stays, dental and doctor visits resulting in a myriad of charges – leaving patients with a confusing trail of bills. Patients need someone to help them navigate the confusing medical billing process. Medical providers have Lawyers and collection Agencies to fight for them, but the patient had no one up until now (now they have Patient Billing advocates at MBAS).
