Hi Deniz, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Dreamers Market is our unwavering commitment to supporting and uplifting small businesses. By creating a vibrant and inclusive community where artisans and entrepreneurs can showcase their talents, we foster genuine connections and provide valuable opportunities for growth. Our dedication to promoting and recognizing these amazing businesses has built a strong, supportive network that continues to thrive and inspire. It’s all about spreading joy, celebrating creativity, and making dreams come true!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At Dreamers Market, we specialize in hosting Small Business Pop-up Events across Southern California, providing a platform for local artisans and small business owners to showcase their unique products. What sets us apart is our vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, where we create a community space for vendors and customers to connect and celebrate creativity. We’re most proud of the supportive network we’ve built, fostering meaningful relationships and helping small businesses thrive.

Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. Starting a business in a new place like California posed numerous challenges, from finding the right locations for our events to convincing landlords of our potential. Building a strong community around Dreamers Market and finding talented vendors that align with our vision was another significant hurdle. However, through perseverance, hard work, and unwavering dedication, we turned each challenge into an opportunity for growth. It is true that when they say ‘if you love your job, you never have to work’, it is my biggest passion to support all these amazing small businesses. And I think that’s the secret ingredient.

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of believing in what you’re doing and giving it your all. Staying resilient in the face of adversity and maintaining a positive and supportive attitude has been crucial to our success. Additionally, effective communication and building strong relationships have been key elements in overcoming obstacles and fostering a supportive environment.

What I want the world to know about Dreamers Market is that it’s more than just a shopping experience; it’s a community where dreams come to life. We’re dedicated to empowering small businesses, promoting their incredible talents, and creating joyful, memorable events for everyone involved. We’re excited to continue this journey, bringing more opportunities and support to local artisans and entrepreneurs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d plan a week full of local highlights where we can have a bit of everything.

Day 1: Kick off with shopping at Dreamers Market, exploring unique items from talented local artisans.

Day 2: Enjoy a delicious meal at Oniguru, known for the best rice balls in town and enjoy the live music and the beer at Steelcraft

Day 3: Have a cute picnic at Corona del Mar, taking in the scenic beach views.

Day 4: Visit art galleries in Laguna Beach for some cultural exploration, followed by a relaxing session at a head spa.

Day 5: Tour to City Tustin to explore the beautiful city.

Day 6: Take a trip to Temecula for a vineyard tour and wine tasting.

Day 7: Go hiking on the Crystal Cove Beach Trail for fresh air and beautiful landscapes.

Day 8: Wrap up with a fun night out in Costa Mesa at a mexican restaurant, enjoying live music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! I’d love to give a huge shoutout to my incredibly supportive family—my loving husband and our two amazing sons. Their encouragement and belief in my vision have been my biggest source of strength.

I also want to recognize all the talented artisans and small business owners who participate in Dreamers Market. Their creativity and hard work are the heart and soul of our events.
