Meet Diego Feliciano | Music Artist & Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diego Feliciano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Diego, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I felt I had things to say and I didn’t know how to say them. I was a shy kid and very bad at being intimate when it came to being with people, music and film helped me get in touch with myself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a recording artist, I guess I am proud that I’ve done it all myself. I moved to LA when I was 18 and from there began to explore my musical interests to there fullest. I learned a lot my first year here, and expanded to listening to a lot of different genres.
On all my music I’m writing, recording, designing, and mixing it all. Even through the imperfections I think it gives the art more integrity because I’m not trying to give a perfect performance, just a human one.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well my best friend is my girlfriend and we hang out all the time, but if we were here for a week with nothing to do we would probably start it off in San Fernando for coffee. From there it’s a thrift hunt throughout the valley. For some sight seeing, I’ve never been to the Getty, always wanted to check it out though. Favorite beach to go to is Laguna Beach, a bit of a drive but so worth it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my work to both of my grandmothers who have always been a reliant shoulder to be comforted by.
