We had the good fortune of connecting with Eden Shea Beck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Eden Shea, what principle do you value most?
The principle I try to always follow is to be true to myself. I’ve found that when I show my true authentic self whether it be at an audition or in life, good things come my way. It can be hard to stay in that mindset in the world we live in today with instant access to other peoples views and opinions in this social media crazed world. I’ve found that the most successful and admired people are the ones who refuse to be anything but themselves. I believe it is a quality people are drawn to and necessary to succeed in life. I’m a work in progress, but I strive everyday to continue to try and accept myself fully.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am excited about the improvements I have made in my acting, through months of training during the quarantine. I started in acting classes in high school and fell in love from there! I have had and and continue to face many challenges with the quarantine, but trying to stay positive and hope that my training will help me when the virus is over and things are back to normal in the entertainment industry. I’ve learned to be patient, true to myself, and to love and believe in myself. I hope to inspire others to continue to chase their dreams.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite place is West Hollywood. Pre-Covid I loved going to restaurants, bars, and lounges in that area! It was always popping!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My amazing parents for believing in me and supporting my acting career even in times when I didn’t believe in myself and thought about giving up. I love you!
