We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Parker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Authenticity is the value that matters most to me. It’s the foundation upon which I build my work and relationships, guiding every decision I make.

To me, authenticity means being true to oneself, embracing originality, and committing to genuine expression. It’s about showing up honestly, without pretense, and creating work that reflects real stories, emotions, and perspectives. Being authentically creative is at the heart of this—it’s about pushing boundaries, exploring new ideas, and crafting something unique that truly represents the essence of a project or a story. Authenticity fosters trust and connection, both in creative collaborations and with clients.

By staying authentically creative, I ensure that everything I create is meaningful, impactful, and rooted in a deeper purpose. It allows me to bring my true self to every project, which I believe is essential for creating work that not only stands out but also resonates on a personal and emotional level.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is all about taking the ordinary and transforming it into something extraordinary—turning the everyday into a spectacle of the surreal, the whimsical, and the unexpected. I strive to make the mundane magical, breathing life into wild ideas through a blend of photography, digital manipulation, Cinema 4D, and hands-on crafting. My work is not just about capturing a moment; it’s about crafting a reality where dreams and imagination have no limits. I love to blur the lines between reality and fantasy, using every tool at my disposal to make the impossible come to life.

What sets me apart is this commitment to storytelling through layers of creativity. I don’t just rely on a single medium; I fuse photography, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, and tangible crafting to build worlds that feel both real and dreamlike. I see myself as a storyteller first and foremost—one who uses visual art to take people on a journey far beyond the confines of everyday life. It’s about taking a concept that might seem simple and elevating it to the point where it’s almost larger than life, filled with details that invite viewers to pause, look closer, and dive deeper.

Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. There were countless late nights filled with frustration, failed experiments, and moments of doubt. I faced many challenges—learning new technologies, mastering new techniques, and constantly pushing the boundaries of my own creativity. But it’s these very challenges that fueled my passion. I learned to embrace failure as part of the process, understanding that each setback is just another step towards something greater. The most valuable lesson I’ve learned is that creativity has no bounds; it’s a relentless pursuit that requires courage, resilience, and a willingness to see things differently.

I want the world to know that Elizabeth Parker Studio is about bringing dreams to reality. It’s about embracing the bold, the bizarre, and the beautiful, and inviting others to see the world through a new lens. My work is a testament to the idea that art should challenge, surprise, and inspire. It’s not about perfection but about the perfect blend of imagination and craftsmanship. I want people to look at my work and feel transported—like they’ve stepped into a world where anything is possible. That’s the magic I aim to create, and that’s the story I want my art to tell.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week and I wanted to give them the ultimate Los Angeles experience, it would be a blend of iconic landmarks, hidden gems, delicious food, and relaxed hangouts that truly capture the city’s spirit. We’d kick things off with lunch at either The Original Farmers Market or Grand Central Market, where the variety of food stalls offers a taste of LA’s diverse culinary scene. Afterward, we’d spend the afternoon exploring some of the cool shops in Silver Lake, a neighborhood known for its eclectic boutiques and artsy vibe. A stroll around Echo Park Lake with a coffee from Stories Books & Cafe would be the perfect way to unwind and take in the local culture.

To catch the sunset and enjoy some breathtaking views, we’d head up to Griffith Observatory, where the sweeping vistas of Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign make for an unforgettable experience. For dinner, El Compadre is the definite choice—this spot is quintessential LA with its warm atmosphere, delicious Mexican food, and famous flaming margaritas. It’s a personal favorite and a must-visit for anyone looking to feel the true heartbeat of the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband of 22 years- my best friend, love of my life, and greatest supporter. He has been my rock through every step of this journey, providing unwavering love, encouragement, and support, even when things have been tough. His belief in me and what I’m trying to build has been a constant source of strength and inspiration.

He’s the one who lifts me up when I’m feeling low, who celebrates the wins with me, big or small, and who always pushes me to go after my dreams fearlessly. His partnership means everything to me—whether it’s offering a fresh perspective, listening when I need to vent, or just being by my side through every late night and early morning.

My journey wouldn’t be the same without him. I am deeply grateful for his presence in my life, and I truly couldn’t do this without his endless support, love, and belief in me.
