We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Munoz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erica, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I have a positive mindset when it comes to risk. In my life risks come hand in hand with opportunities. Even when I have lost financially, I have learned a lesson. I would definitely not be doing what I do today if I didn’t take risks both in my personal life and career. I think, most importantly, is the fact that I cannot recall a risk I took, on any journey, that I regret. I’m on my Nipsey Hustle … “f@$ck living basic, i’m taking risk …” mood forever.

What should our readers know about your business?
Brown n Black Entertainment Enterprises was formed to create a down to earth, honest, transparent entertainment business where creatives could feel comfortable focusing on their creative ventures while trusting that someone will take care of their business activities. At BNB Entertainment we take the time to know the individuals we add on to the team. We work cohesively and support each other no matter what title we hold within the team. We want our team to grow and learn from each other, and we never hold anyone back from any opportunity. We are extremely proud of our growth and community support.
I believe that it is our easy going approach that has played an essential role our my success. We can talk to anyone and am not intimidated by title of status.
The journey was not easy. I had several people reject my ideas and proposals. I had to be consistent and keep showing up. I had to show face when I made mistakes and I had to hold myself accountable. I have learned not to expect anything from anyone, to trust myself, and, most importantly, trust the process. BNB Entertainment is grateful for all the love and support that we have recently received. This is just the beginning.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

I have had so much love and support throughout my journey. It is difficult to name any one individual. Still, I would love to send a mad SHOUTOUT to Kelvin Taylor and his entire team at The Mentortainmentship Group, LLC! Mr. Taylor has been someone I look to for help and has been more than helpful and patient with me as I learn new industry traits. Also, mad SHOUTOUT toTony A aka Tony A Da Wizard from Roadium Radio podcast. Tony has been a great mentor and support system. This two men have been a blessing through my current journey though the music industry.
