We had the good fortune of connecting with Erik White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Erik, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
You don’t ever give up

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well to start , everything I create is from my head made up and I have no schooling all self taught , I feel like that’s one thing that separates me from others , and I believe I have gotten to where I’m at thus far because of hard work and the support from people and family , it’s not easy but it’s worth it. And what I would want the world to know about my brand or story it’s that’s it’s all original and looking forward to meeting other creatives and taking the brand and artwork to the next level wether it be with more gallery showings and representation , to creating and marketing the artwork on clothing , possibilities are endless

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a great question, well to start off I would definately give them the full tour through Venice beach, to give them that bohemian free spirited expierience with the characters of people and artwork that’s usually a favorite spot for people that have came to visit, would give them the real feel from going to dive bars and playing pool at hinano, to just going to the local liquor store and having beers at the skatepark and pier! I think that’s what people enjoy the most. Nevertheless laker game or dodger game is always a must depending on the time of year ! Followed by a Hollywood hike., everyone always loves to see the sign ! Also rooftop bars like the Ace hotel are always a good time.. broad street market downtown as well and the broad art museum

If there was anything I would wanna give a shout out to, it would definately be all the people who have supported me in this art journey , wether it be showing love or buying pieces, also my family would have to thank them for the love!
