We had the good fortune of connecting with Fadaïla Chaouch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fadaïla, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
“The most difficult decision I ever had to make was the day I chose to leave what I thought was my comfort zone, but it didn’t really make me happy anymore. I realized that I had spent too much time prioritising safety at the expense of happiness. That day, I decided, for the first time, to think of myself, my happiness, my independence, and what made me find my peace. It was an incredibly difficult decision, which required the greatest of sacrifices from me. But it also gave me the hope of opening the eyes and hearts of those who matter most to me, to give them, too, a chance to believe in their dreams.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I deeply understand the feeling you express. As Michael Jordan said: “I can accept failure, everyone fails in something. But I can’t accept not trying.”

The path to success is often full of pitfalls, but every challenge overcome is a victory in itself.

My determination to persevere, learn from your failures and keep moving forward is admirable.

Every step taken, every obstacle overcome, brought me closer to my goals and testifies to my resilience and inner strength.

Remember that every failure is a learning opportunity and that perseverance is the key to turning challenges into successes. Continue to believe in yourself and your dreams, because every step you take brings you closer to the realization of your aspirations.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places in California

Joshua Tree, with its unique desert landscapes and impressive rock formations, offers an unforgettable experience. For a perfect day, start by admiring the sunrise from Keys View, offering a panoramic view of the Coachella Valley.
Then explore the Hidden Valley Nature Trail, a 1.6 km loop ideal for discovering the local flora and fauna. For lunch, enjoy local cuisine at Joshua Tree Coffee Company, renowned for its artisan coffees.
In the afternoon, visit the Noah Purifoy Outdoor Desert Art Museum, an open-air museum featuring sculptures and artistic installations.
End the day with stargazing at Keys View, a viewpoint with stunning views of the Coachella Valley.

This program offers a perfect balance between exploration, relaxation and cultural discovery.
