We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriella Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabriella, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It was less of a thought process, and more of a calling. My early life led me through darkness and pain, and through the process of waking up from a coma, I had an awakening. This awakening led me on a global pilgrimage around the world visiting communes, ashrams and monasteries, as a young woman, before cell phones and google existed. The seeker in me that just knew I had something in me that was much greater than what my history taught me to be or expect, led me into a rich journey of healing and self-discovery. This led me into the arena of Spirituality and Psychology. Through learning how to pick myself up inside, and build a healthy sense of self, I then learned the skills necessary to walk others through their journey of healing and awakening.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I walk women through a psycho-spiritual process that equips her with skills to develop a more loving relationship with herself – cultivating self-esteem, self-confidence and self-respect. From this place, she is able to relate to herself with kindness, to nurture relationships that are healthy and share her gifts and talents in the world. This process restores a woman to herself as a powerful creator of her own experience, so she may demonstrate what it means to be a strong, empowered woman actively creating a new world based on caring, compassion and collaboration. What sets me apart is that not only have I walked this path myself, I’ve also dedicated my professional career to understanding the process of how a woman transforms from the inside out. Ranging from developing educational models that are designed to empower women to spending over 2 yrs and 1000 hrs of research interviews to discover what gets in the way of conscious women and their ability to create loving relationships, so I could create a new blueprint, a new model that walks a woman through the predictable developmental process, to personally coaching women through the process of becoming their most fully expressed selves, I am very honored. I can’t say the path is easy as it continues to test me to rise inside of myself, however, given that I’ve been serving within this industry since 1994, it is hugely rewarding to witness the growth and upliftment of the courageous women I get to guide.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love peace and quiet, so I prefer to have tea on the waters edge at the Soho House Malibu, followed by a beach walk and then an intimate dinner at the Malibu Beach Inn.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
