We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Claire Kheang and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannah Claire, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I wanted to create and be a part of something that inspired people to be the best version of themselves. My workouts, gym sessions, and the lifestyle fitness gave me, led to the birth of Nexlvl. Working out made me better and built the foundation of being my best self in every aspect of life. It taught me a healthy mindset, work ethic, discipline, patience, consistency, health, self-love, self-care, and self-improvement. I wanted to transcend the same energy into a brand. I merged fitness and clothes together, two things I’m passionate about and two of many ways I express myself. I think the clothes you wear represents you, what you’re trying to convey, and who you are. Nexlvl is an identity. Nexlvl is a constant reminder to align with your highest self. It is the art of being on the journey to your best, while being your best. At its core, Nexlvl is a movement and a community of people infinitely pursuing their best while inspiring others to do the same.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Nexlvl is a fitness and lifestyle brand. We embody the concept of being the best version of yourself through fitness and as a lifestyle. Our brand provides you with fitness apparel and we also provide accessories such as hats, socks, and resistance bands which we hope to restock in the near future. We are currently expanding with more apparel and accessories in the works. We are working on a subdivision on our website as well that we will announce at the end of 2020. Nexlvl is always here to support in the alignment of your best self: during your workouts, at the gym, and in life.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being based in Long Beach, California puts me in the epicenter of good times as I am located in between Orange County and Los Angeles. It would take me all day, actually several days to months to list my favorite spots in these areas, so I’ll list a few of my favorite spots in Long Beach, CA. Some of my favorite places in Long Beach, CA include: Long Beach Thai, Aburi Sushi, Blue Bowl, Loose leaf Boba, The Boathouse on the Bay, Bo-beau kitchen + Rooftop, Adobo Tacos, La Parolaccia Osteria, Earl of Sandwich, Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, ICONIX gym, 2nd&pch plaza, Padre, Blind Donkey, At the Top, Ballast Point, and going to the beach.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God, my parents, mindset podcasts, books such as: “Think and Grow Rich”, “The 4-hour workweek”, “Can’t Hurt Me”, and Kobe Bryant.
