We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah True and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannah, what do you attribute your success to?
Passion! I wholeheartedly believe being passionate about what you do will lead to success. For me, balloons bring me joy and I love the joy balloons bring to others as well. My passion for balloons shows through in my work and I like to believe my customers can see that.
What should our readers know about your business?
Balloons are my first and only “job.” However, balloons aren’t a job for me; they are my passion and I get to have fun and deliver smiles all day! Many people are surprised to hear I have a degree in marketing since it has nothing to do with balloons. Conversely, those who know I have a marketing degree are shocked to find out I have a balloon business. It’s always fun to see their reactions when they hear this. It’s not necessarily a challenge, but a lot of these people think my degree is “wasted” by doing balloons. On the contrary, some think I’m young and don’t know how to run a business, until they learn about my degree.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, the first stop would definitely be the balloon store! I’m a huge Disney fan, so that’s also a must. We’d be driving all around to find the best tea places, cute dessert shops, and go from one restaurant to another. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Volunteer Clowns of Orange County is a wonderful organization where I found my passion for balloons. I joined in 2012 and have been obsessed with balloons ever since!
