We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannahcamille Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannahcamille, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My career needed a push. Here I was creating art pieces you’d shed a tear to if it were a Saturday night in a galleria. I knew if I wanted to establish a foundation then taking the risk would be worth the while.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Black American Indian Owned.
The pandemic created a bubble with space to invest into our families future and create art pieces that would capture time. It wasn’t easy, we lost employees, DBA’s closed down during mandates. The Board members had to have an emergency meeting when it all began. Re-organize the entire business plan so it stood strong during bad days and weather. The community of small businesses did just that, we really love the amount of love and support we received from both everyone.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’re located in the Jungle so there’s plenty of things to do. In Los Angeles you can always choose a height. High or Low. Rooftop bar or something as deep as the sea. Santa Monica Beach is absolutely breathtaking with venues and food to fill your desires!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’d love to shout God for understanding my path and allowing us to lead in its glory. I’d like to shoutout my team members at Zodella that are helping me ensure we create a eco-friendly and luxurious shopping experience while at Zodella! Shout out to my son for driving me, for being excited while creating his own shoe business at 2yrs old! Last but not least We dedicate this article to our Customers at Zodella, we Thank you for your business and look forward to design the future in Home Goods, Furniture and Set Design.
