We had the good fortune of connecting with Hila Bahari and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hila, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would have to say that being true to myself and following my intuitions from the very beginning is what lead me to my success today. In the social media world it can be very easy to lose yourself, start working with brands you don’t believe in because they may offer you money for instance or one may start sharing things they may not fully believe in but that gets them more visibility. I was always very true to myself and made it a priority to only work with people and brands that I supported and believed in. I pride myself for always provide the most honest information to my followers.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I share advice, tips and guidance for mothers, mainly new mothers and offer my support through my Mamaguide Community mainly on Instagram. I started my community just about 3 years ago right after my son was born and It started off very slow but after a year my following started growing really fast and today I have over 80K followers, a large Email list and a huge support through my E-books on my website. There are many communities similar to mine on social media particularly ones that started in 2020 during the quarantine. I think my page is unique because I provide all the information and support a new mom would need and if I don’t have the information I always point them to the right direction. It is a one stop shop for moms.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If you asked me this 7 years ago I would be THE person to give you the best itinerary. Fast forward with 2 kids and a year long pandemic I am far from interesting. I love the beach and would definitely recommend to visit Malibu or Manhattan Beach. My favorite dinner spot is Tar & Roses in Santa Monica or Catch in WeHo. I Love me a good ice cream shop and would recommend visiting Diddy Riese (old school but really the best!). For lunch I love Elephante it has a view and an ambiance. I live across the street from Century City Mall and we go there all the time, it is so beautiful and has a bit or everything highly recommended if you want to get some shopping as well, oh and they have the best Italian ice cream shop. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would have to say that my husband is the one who pushed me from the very beginning to start my page and then move on to my website and spread all my knowledge and research with other mothers. He always valued what I had to say and supported my decisions. He also pushed me to always go one step further even when I thought I couldn’t. He is the reason my following has grown, the reason I started my website and created a brand for myself.
