We had the good fortune of connecting with Hiral Patadia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hiral, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want my legacy to be that of someone who uses every bit of life to bring healing and encouragement to others. I want people to remember me not just for the things I do well, but truly for how I make them feel.

I want all the stories, conversations, and books I ever write, to be remembered – if by millions, great, but to no specific number quantity; I just want my work to influence others in a positive way, shed light on important topics and create discussions that will continue for generations. I don’t want to only be remembered by my physical beauty or outer edges but more, for all the things I can do to impact individuals around the world.

We all have a beating heart and a powerful mind – there’s a lot of love and change we can make with that.
And you never know who’s watching, who’s observing, or who you are making a difference to.. choose wisely with how you want your legacy to be.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
POPbyhiral is a place that brings individuals together who are experiencing different emotions. My work is expressed through words, accompanied by minimalistic illustration drawings.

When developing this community, I thought it’d be great to introduce products as beautiful reminders that create peace and healing. I design anything from home decor, to prints and canvases, to accessories. The newest addition I have, are nail art stickers: https://www.popbyhiral.com/

Growing up, I’ve always been into different forms of expression – from writing to speaking to playing music, etc. I’ve always enjoyed the concept of words, most. I started sharing my work more publicly in the hopes to heal hearts.

Aside from my creative passions, I also have two independent retail front stores with Swarovski Crystal, in different cities around SoCal.

Trying to balance both aspects of my life, I’ve realized that no matter what you do, any industry involves its own hindrance. But the key in overcoming that is to just persevere and figure out HOW to handle everything that comes your way. It’s not just about reaching your destination, but more about appreciating the views that came along your way;
That even through it all, you were able to push forward ~

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
With so many well known sites and attractions to visit, deciding on the best things to do in Los Angeles can be overwhelming. If you’re only in town for a short time, you could spend all your trip wandering around L.A.’s essential museums without even making it to Hollywood. This city is big and surrounded with so many great experiences that you’ll never be asking yourself what to do – from the beaches of Santa Monica to the streets of the Arts and Fashion District to the hip restaurants and cafe’s. There are so many great places to visit and things to see. Some places I would recommend experiencing is hiking along the trails of Runyon Canyon, visiting museum’s such as: The Broad, LACMA, Griffith Observatory (this also, at golden hour) The Getty, just to name a few. The Santa Monica Pier is always beautiful and makes for the perfect date! I also really enjoy the Grand Central Market – a downtown landmark that’s been around since 1917. It brings together the cuisines and cultures of Los Angeles through their fantastic vendors and event spaces. But wherever you go, you can’t go wrong. LA is the great big city of hopes and dreams with entertainment and excitement around every corner.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Gratefully so, I have found support and inspiration in many places and people who have helped shape my path to where I am today. I find influence from listening to podcasts, reading books, traveling parts of the world and having real life conversations with both, people I’m familiar with, and also, unfamiliar with – I love meeting strangers that become friends; there’s always something you can learn from someone.

I owe a lot to my community @popbyhiral and to my close friends and family, for continuously having faith in me. Because of them, I’m able to confidently reach my dreams and pursue my passions. Through all that I do, I hope I can encourage more people to be a part of my story.
