We had the good fortune of connecting with Hitham Abu-Mlhem and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hitham, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I used to be a chef in Halal Mediterranean restaurants and my wife worked in Mexican Latin American restaurants and one day I was thinking if we could one day open a restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food but in Halal style and here we are thanking god every day on all the blessings people loving the food and it gathers different cultures together 🙏

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I would like to thank all the people that support our new business in town and special thanks to my wonderful wife for standing next to me and making it happen even though with all the challenges and hard times we have been through

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Los Angeles it does have lots of places to visit such as Santa Monica beaches with beautiful weather and many restaurants and activities to do such as hiking going outdoors in the wilderness in big bear visiting Disney land and universal studios

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
