We had the good fortune of connecting with Howard The 3rd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Howard, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I chose to purse an creative career because that’s really all my mind knows. As a child whenever I would watch tv or listen to music I just knew that’s what I wanted to do. Then as I got older into my teens then twenties I knew I wanted to be involved in the arts somehow and someway and my inner voice wouldn’t let me move away from it. Now it’s not easy at all pursuing this career but at least I can say I’m truly happy.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a entertainment and podcast host working in Los Angeles, CA. I also do some big and tall men’s modeling on the side as well. There’s so many lessons that I’ve learned along the way but I think the biggest lesson is to truly always just be yourself it’s easier than trying to pretend to be somebody else. I would want the world to know that I am a lovable person who enjoys the simple things and that my brand will bring you kindness, laughter, and your long lost best friend.
I believe what sets me apart from others would definitely have to be my personality. I know a lot of people say that but I truly believe that I am a person who has wonderful energy, a beautiful laugh, a great eye for fashion, loyalty, and such a calm, cool, and collected vibe that you can honestly be yourself around me. Those are the most traits that I’m proud of. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So if my best friend was in town for a week I will take her till one of my favorite restaurants called Larry’s. After that we were go bar hop in West Hollywood. In the next few days I would take her to the Beverly Center ,the grove, Melrose ave, and downtown LA fashion district. Then on the weekend we would do a hike at Runyon Canyon and then drinks again at night on Hollywood Boulevard.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would definitely have to say I owe all of my success and recognition to my heavenly father the Lord without him none of this would be possible. I also my success and recognition to my parents for guiding me and installing wonderful values within me. I definitely cannot forget about my sister who pushes me day in and day out to be the best person that I can be. Plus I can name so many other great artist says and creative people we would be here all day. Just to name a few people like Queen Latifah , Oprah Winfrey , Sway and Ryan Secrest.
