We had the good fortune of connecting with Ilana Friedman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ilana, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The success of TUSOL is rooted in the relationships we develop with our customers, and the impact we’re able to create in their lives. As a direct to consumer wellness company, we focus primarily on supporting our community along their health journeys with education, content, and effective products. We listen closely to their experiences so we can continue innovating in this rapidly-evolving space.
What should our readers know about your business?
At TUSOL we’re on a mission to design the cleanest, research-backed wellness products that elevate health and happiness from within.
Our first product is a collection of organic, functional meal and supplement replacement smoothies. Each formulation is rooted in biochemistry and designed to deliver rapid results. TUSOL’s functional blends increase energy, improve focus, boost collagen, stimulate weight loss and improve gut health in under a minute a day. This allows our community to feel their best every day, no matter what their personal health goals may be.
What continues to drive us as a company is hearing the transformational stories of our clients. Most of our subscribers experience noticeable results in their health within the first month of drinking our smoothies, which is extremely humbling and rewarding. There are undoubtedly challenges and lessons to learn along the way when growing a business, but as long as we stay true to our mission and our passion we will continue to find the best ways to support our community.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite part of living in Los Angeles is both the weather and the proximity to nature. When I welcome friends into town, I’ll generally take them hiking to Sandstone Peak, biking through Santa Monica, to the beach in Malibu, and for a good glass of wine somewhere along the coast. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The one book that’s undoubtedly had the greatest impact in my life is David Hawkins’ Power vs. Force. In his work he’s done an incredible job of highlighting exactly how our existence and consciousness effects those around us — not only in the present moment, but for many years to come. We’re all deeply connected and have the ability to impact those around us in such profound ways.
