We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaron Mcneil and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaron, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to start a business because of the core principles of what it takes to being a successful entrepreneur. That’s been resilent, persistent and faithful! I have positive influences and mentors in my life who inspire me to become one!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is in giving people encouraging and uplifting words in peace love and light. I’m proud that I can walk and speak as myself no matter what room I am in now. I came this far and still going not only by the grace of God . Also by still going through and pass my comfort zone and getting back up each time I fell down in life! It wasn’t easy but I only overcame because I kept believing and focusing on what I can do and not focus on what I can’t do in life! I can love, I can inspire , I can have meaningful relationships and I can build success in my life and I am! I have learned to never give up on you because God hasn’t given up on you! You can literally do anything you set your mind to and surpass all challenges that life throws at you. What I wish for people to know about my brand and story is that you can also make it to a higher level in life if you decide to keep going and not quit on you! That is What Outcast To Alpha represents and that is growth!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well I’m from Philly but if my best friend came to visit me, I would take them to amusement parks like Dorney Park or go to the board walk in Wildwood. Play games there, go-karting, go to different stores and shop, tour through the ghost ship and of course get on some rides! I would take them to a AMC movie theater and watch movies of course. We would go to a soul food restaurant and all you can eat buffet! Go to a sixers game as well!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely shout-out to my mother, father, sister for always being there for me growing up! To all of my friends and family love you all! For every mentor I ever had in my life and to everyone who always seen the good in me when I didn’t see it in my self(teachers, neighbors, people I went to school with, and in after school programs) Thank you so very much for playing a part in my life.
