Hi Jean Pierre, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Honesty and trust are the single most important factors behind the success of Jean Pierre Jewelers. That, with providing high quality jewelry and unparalleled workmanship, have allowed me to gain the trust and loyalty of the community, and now nationally. The couple I helped purchase an engagement ring 25 years ago comes back for every birthday, anniversary, and special occasion in between; now, I am custom designing their daughters wedding ring. We are the local jeweler that has been on the corner for as long as you can remember, and with that comes a tradition of honesty, trust, and exquisite workmanship.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe you have to start from the ground up to run a successful business. I started as a sales person in my early teens working for our family business. Over the years, I gained more and more experience, and my job description kept expanding. By the time I was in my early 20’s, I was the jeweler, GIA diamond grader, jewelry designer, manufacturer, marketing manager, and so on. I learned every aspect of the jewelry and business industry, and made certain I built strong relationships along the way. Sure I made mistakes, more than I could count, but with every mistake came a lesson and growth.

I want people to know that Jean Pierre Jewelers was built on a foundation of honesty, trust, and quality workmanship. As a third generation jeweler and business owner, it is my promise to provide my clients with the highest quality service, experience, and product.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a Los Angeles native, I would show off the incredible coast life and weather we are fortunate to experience almost year round. My favorites include Malibu, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, and Manhattan. There is so much to do, see, eat, and drink in this amazing city. Take a boat out in the Marina, soak up the sun at the beach, have an ocean front dinner during the sunset, take a hike in the Santa Monica mountains, wine tasting in Malibu, or bike riding in Manhattan. The possibilities and fun is endless.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Rebecca, is the backbone of our family and business. She came into my life, and subsequently into the business, when the social media industry and Instagram were just starting to take off. With her help, we were able to take Jean Pierre Jewelers to the next level and make our brand and online presence known in the social media industry.
