We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeromy Rosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeromy, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I feel like I’m not meant to work a regular job for the rest of my life. It’s a gut feeling I’ve had since I was a kid and I’ve been obsessed with film/tv for as long as I can remember, that really pushes me to follow my dream of becoming an actor. I also feel like these days it’s more possible than ever with a lot of new streaming services putting out new content constantly.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got to where I am today just by simply believing in myself that I can do it if I’m in the right situation. Most people become content in their lives and don’t go after what they really want and that motivates me to stay focused on my goals. After the pandemic happened I really started thinking about what I want out of life, because it was such a sudden thing that could’ve ended my life potentially.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There’s so many places in LA it’s hard to keep track, but I would recommend going to the santa monica pier, it’s a great place to really appreciate what California has to offer aesthetically. There’s also a ton do over there and great bars/restaurants.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely my friends and family, they’ve supported me every step of the way up until this point and I’ll be forever grateful for that. I also want to thank Central Casting for giving me my first real opportunity to be on professional sets for some of the most popular tv shows out right now.
