We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph Crapanzano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joseph, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
That the customer is always right! Listen, I know food. I know cuisines, I know what pairs well together, what I do not know is plumbing. I do not like when a client or customer orders and then wants to dissect a dish with outrageous requests or asks questions like they work for Zagat. I do not go to a construction site and tell the workers how to build a house. Let people do what they excel at. When you dine , try new things, let a chef be creative and immerse yourself in his world of culinary creativity. 

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
After Many trial and tribulations in the food industry with Cafes, Restaurants, Catering, PlatesHubs finally began back in 2019, founded by Joseph Crapanzano, with a vision to give clients seasonally inspired and regionally sourced menus that represent cuisines from all over the globe. PlatesHub has always had a commitment to great quality and service since its early beginnings. And because of their great service and products, the company has built strong partnerships with many of today’s most staple sports names. Today, the food service company serves companies and staff of companies in the National Football League, Fandango, Tinder, HBO, Netflix, Amazon, and so much more. PlatesHub has an on-staff nutritionist who works closely with the client to determine their company team members’ nutritional needs and preferences. The company then proceeds to curate each highly customized menu based on those metrics. Factors such as needs, likes, dietary goals, and desires all come into the team’s consideration when developing these specialized menus. But one of the greatest add-ons to PlatesHub’s service is that they prepare and deliver meals to a company or individual’s doorstep. During the pandemic, food delivery services have been on the rise as people look for safer options. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Most of my friends live on the east coast so when they would visit i would take them to South Orange County Beaches. Salt Creek Beach by the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point is picturesque. Dining is always hard as a chef but its always alot of fun at Harley Laguna Beach.
