We had the good fortune of connecting with Julie Civiello Polier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I think a defining aspect of why we’ve experienced success and continue to build thriving, successful collaborations with bigger brands is our intention to offer individualized care. I greet each client, each workshop, each IG Live, each zoom class and show up for the needs that are cropping up in the present moment and also listening for the dreams and wishes of the individuals and the groups. I feel it’s important to see people as they are and keep the circle of presence wide enough to include their dreams of what they want to create and how they want to feel.

What should our readers know about your business?
The messages we constantly receive from our bodies are endlessly fascinating. We are made up of so many fibers of deep wisdom and our bodies are teaching us daily. I recently created a Holistic Beauty Kit called LINEA that is one of the many ways to tune into these body-messages and practice receiving this bountiful guidance we have within us. This practice is much more than skin deep: this 3 step process of wearing and massaging with the kit’s clear quartz crystal massage tool that doubles as a necklace, nourishing the skin with LINEA Luminous facial oil, and following along on instagram reels or with the printed LINEA methods, allows us to understand and track what’s happening in our bodies in present time. This can look like deciphering a blemish on our lower cheeks as a grief detox or a rash near our hairline and temples as a trauma healing from a rough childhood and a new neural pathway forming without the old thoughts of over-worrying. The immediate benefit is faces with lifted, toned, and regenerated skin! Emotionally, spiritually, and mentally there are often deep clearings as well. The whole LINEA practice is so holistically beneficial.

I’ve a background in movement, voice, and acting study and worked for many years in the entertainment industry and so the work and tools I currently offer is very much informed by embodiment, expression, and the therapeutic techniques in somatic healing. I loved how acting empowered me to access my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies all at once in a harmonized way. With the creation of the LINEA Holistic Beauty Kit, I intended to create a simple and accessible healing kit that invited this harmony in all of our bodies, and also empowered the ability to discern when one of our bodies was out of whack so that we could gently align again. It’s powerful to be our own healer and look more and more within ourselves for the healing answers we seek.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A dear friend just introduced me to Stoneview Nature Center in the Culver City area of Los Angeles and it’s really sweet especially for young families. One can drop off compost, watch the fish in the hydroponic strawberry tanks, walk the pathways, smell the herbs, flowers, and California native plants, as well as watch the bee hive and many Monarch butterflies.

I love the healing element of water, so either a meditative walk around the pond at Lakeshrine Self Realization Fellowship (online reservations are needed these days) or a picnic on the beach in Santa Monica wherever parking is easiest.

For dinner, another dear friend just introduced me to Birdie G’s in Santa Monica, which is elevated American food in a chic setting from Rustic Canyon group. Ask for Francisco for the loveliest and most intuitive service.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are so many to recognize and offer deep gratitude to for guidance and support throughout this constant journey. The mentorship I’ve received from the Reiki healers who attuned me in reiki healing (Aimee Bello + Vanya Grimalt) opened a world of energetic alignment I never knew possible. Thank you to dear female friends Eileen O’Sullivan, Jill Willard, Dee Kaplan, Nicole Webb, Betsy Simon, Elizabeth Marble, Jenn Proske, Gabrielle Zhuang Estrin, Anna Lobell, Andi Georgiana, Lauren Weisman Sax, Cameron Clair, Jenné Claiborne, Pamela Pimiento, Kristina Loring, Krissy Mallette, Julia Vose, Maddie Eisenhart, Sam Futerman, Vanessa Barton, Elaine Driscoll, Elle Darcy, Molly Adams, Bronwyn Potthoff, Riley Albair, and Adriann Leveille – each of you empower me and everyone around you and I also feel so seen and heard by you.
