We had the good fortune of connecting with Karlton Fisher and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karlton, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency, consistency is the main key to success, along with discipline. When I started REEL, motion started off a bit slow as an indie label, and over a couple years it has become a major house hold name. Many of my artists gets huge placement, and my clientele for my studio wen up over 60% in the last 4 years.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started the Brand R.E.E.L (real evidence of elevated lifestyle) back in 2018. In 2019 I signed a record deal, throughout my deal I soaked in as much information I as I could about the music and entertainment business. I took a lot of those factors and applied different strategies to my business. Some worked some didn’t, yet I didn’t give up, I eventually opened up different departments under the main brand. I have Reel University, (3 locations) The Reel brows,(ran by my wife) R.M.G (reel music group). Reel European (small private carlot) Reel Management, and also in the process of opening a boutique for all the merch from each artist, producer any one involved with the company who has fashion ideas. There’s a lot going on and I’m glad to know I have a company full of people that love what they do, and motivated to expand

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First R.E.E.L University of course,
I have Los Angeles CA, Fresno CA, Atlanta GA, Memphis TN.

I don’t usually hang out much due to my full energy is going towards expanding the brand. I usually invite people to one of my priorities (LA or Fresno) and have a cook out. I’m pretty good at hosting.

But places I enjoy is Venice Beach, Lost lake in fresno, Harbor town Memphis, and pretty much any nightlife place that sells good food in Atlanta.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout of my team for the dedication and the talent they have brought to the Brand.
