We had the good fortune of connecting with Kathryn Eipl and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kathryn, what do you attribute your success to?
The first thing that comes to my mind is gratitude. I’m grateful for all the experiences that have led me toward my healing career path. Without my mentors, coaches, clients and community, I’d have nothing. Gratitude is behind everything I do. Working from a place of gratitude provides me with the space I need to keep my mission and brand in integrity to my mission. My business exists because there is a desire and need to connect with oneself on a new level to learn how to change self-sabotaging patterns, heal from relationship trauma and the darkest parts of oneself. I’m grateful to have found a community that is ready to work on self betterment to improver the quality of their lives.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Eipl Healing is an alternative health business offering 1:1 relationship coaching, reiki, meditation, sound healing, yoga and aerial yoga sessions, both virtually and in-person. I empower clients to overcome past relationship trauma and end repeating patterns by creating a safe space for them to acknowledge and accept their experiences, identify self-sabotaging behaviors and reprogram them to create healthy relationships. Nothing compares to the feeling when you receive a message about how you’ve inspired someone to take action in their life, whether it’s to get a divorce (which is a good in these cases. or having a difficult conversation). It’s rewarding to see someone reclaim their individual power and start to accept themselves. I’m grateful to have that affect on others. This is why I’ve devoted eleven+ years to studying human interactions, interpersonal relationships, and cognitive psychology. I teach the techniques that I, personally, used to overcome patterns of addiction, cheating, mental abuse and emotional manipulation. My personal experiences play a large role as to why I am relationship coach. I grew up in a dysfunctional household with addition, depression and other mental health illnesses. It was a difficult road to navigate especially as a child. My family dynamic could go from perfectly happy to yelling and crying in minutes, without warning. I grew up believing that I needed to suppress my feelings, hide emotions and pretend that everything was okay. These beliefs affected all of my relationships, including the relationship I had with myself. Reprograming these beliefs was one of the most challenging things I’ve done, which is my I help others from experiencing this type of pain and emotional turmoil with their relationships and families.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, all my friends know I love the beach and being outdoors. Venice Beach and boardwalk are a must. Hit the beach during the day and grab dinner on the boardwalk as the sun sets. One day, we’d go to Griffith Park for some hiking. Get as close to the Hollywood sign as possible. Then another beach day! This time, to Malibu. One of my favorite beaches is Lechuza Beach. I take most of my out of state visitors there. Sometimes we will make a day of it and tour wineries in the area too. Of course, there is a day spent in Hollywood for the Walk of Fame and sight seeing. I like to plan at least two wildcard days. I’ll provide options for activities and ask my visitors to pick what they want to do. Sometimes it’s shopping in Santa Monica or taking a rest day after brunch.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh jeez, I have to pick just one shoutout. This is a challenge. Behind every strong woman is an even stronger woman (or set of women). I’d like to dedicate my shoutout 3 specific women who have helped guide me while I was transitioning my business from entertainment to coaching. In no particular order, Alyssa Hammond, for helping me understand the energetics of money, Margie Scriven, for helping me create my coaching platform and Shannon McInteer for exposing me to new possibilities. I’d also like to give a dedication to my family and friends for constantly supporting me.
