We had the good fortune of connecting with Kianu Reed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kianu, why did you pursue a creative career?
To be honest it has been my soul passion since my early years as a kid. One night after my first show performance with a friend in elementary school. We were swarmed by fans coming out the back door from back stage.. Now, at that moment I knew I truly wanted to pursue my artistic career.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
For starters what sets me apart from others creatively is the multi-talents I possess that most people never know about me from first encounter. Currently, I am proud of myself for finishing up my first album while managing my clothing business I started last year in 2020. Through trial and error over the years it has helped my self development in my journey to put me in position where I am at professionally. In other words the process has not been easy but it is worthy while building character. By overcoming the many challenges along the way it has given me perspective because at the end of the day I’ve always had an optimistic mind knowing things can be worst than what I have endured. In conclusion the world needs to know I have never given up on myself no matter what I have been through and it has made me an absolute stronger man that is forever evolving. Now as far as my brand goes I am just getting started and trust me when I say my life is a real movie that you can not sleep on because you might miss out on the action.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In my point of view we go on small local hikes to start the week off right. Next, we would either do go cart racing, clubbing, bowling or check out any local community events I can usually find. As far as food spots are concerned there are many we can check out that I haven’t had the pleasure to try for myself. Also, the hang out spots we can go to can be the movies, outlets and the Folsom lake if it’s summer time.
