We had the good fortune of connecting with Krissy teskera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krissy, what do you attribute your success to?
Be yourself, be honest, and don’t have money as a motivator. We are doing this because we love to get new Motorcycle riders out to a safe environment to work on their skills and get free training and coaching during the sessions. Trackdaz is a great track organization with coaches who have riding knowledge over 20 years and more. Learn the right skills in the beginning so you don’t have to unlearn the bad habits.

What should our readers know about your business?
In late 2022 / beginning of 2023, after we saw a lot of unnecessary crashes in the canyons and uneducated new Riders, we decided to offer people to go to the track with us. We went anyway and we wanted to allow other riders to go and work on their skills in a safe environment to ride and get better.

Usually, you would need a hitch, a truck, or any kind of way to transport a motorcycle and with that being said it’s not that easy to transport a Motorcycle safely you need to know how to strap it down, so it doesn’t move while you going over the 405 or the 5 freeway which is very very bumpy. I heard of many stories from riders “losing their bike on the freeway”. On top of that most riders leave the track early, because they need to return the rental trailer, well with us you never miss a session (9 am until 5 pm is a track day) because you leave the bike with us and we bring it back when the last customer is done riding. By the time you are showered and ready for dinner or bed, we bring your bike back (or you pick it up the same evening or the next day -it’s always discussed with the customer). We have a few options and work with all of our clients to make it as easy as possible for them.

The Moving Moto was born. I created a website, and Instagram profile and started to work with all of the track organizations which we already knew, because we were riding track almost every month. Me and my partner are well known in the motorcycle community. Therefore it was not hard to find other riders who wanted to go with us and try a track day out with us. We didn’t even push it in the beginning. We were just posting and offering our services, and after a while, we got found by more and more riders. We were really happy to connect with them and bring them out to the track.
They are now friends and regular customers.

Since then, we upgraded from a two-bike trailer to a 7 x 14 enclosed trailer with our logo on it, we partnered up with Adrian Law firm, which is a huge supporter and sponsor of us. If you ever have an accident or a ticket please don’t hesitate to reach out to www.adiranlawfirm.com.

I started as a control rider/coach in C group (Beginner group for new track riders) for the Track organization”Trackdaz”, we now have regular customers and offering as well VIP TRACKDAY SERVICE. Meaning you just show up and you ride and then you go home. We take care of everything else, before, while, and after.

We offer daily towing in the LA area (at the moment only by appointment). We work with almost every dealership in LA and as mentioned with every Socal Trackday organization. We always have an answer for our customer’s motorcycle-related questions. We are very very very well connected.

On the track, Customers have the opportunity to pit with us – meaning they not going to get charged if they hang out with us under our canopies (tips are welcome but not mandatory). So even if you want to go by yourself, you’re not alone, you hang out with us. We help you through the registration and tech inspection and get you out to your first session on time.
Rafa coaches and helps new track day attendees to get smooth into the day. We just love what we do!

You can book us now through our registration website “Track Rabbit”, which made the process so much easier for us and our customers. They have now the opportunity to pay with CC or Klarna etc. so small or big wallets has now the opportunity to ride with us!

What people don’t see, is that we have a lot of work before the track day during the track day and after the track day, sometimes we come home at 1 AM, and go to work the next day!
Yes, we still work full-time – both of us. Most customers say we should charge more, but as of right now, we are happy to establish a service that allows everyone to go and have a great day at the track. Look at it, as you go camping with your motorcycle, but you don’t need to think about anything else, then your snacks and your gear.

I would say if it were easy, everyone would do it, right? We love what we do and just started. It’s a time-consuming service, with lots of work behind the scenes, and we both still working full time, so yes at times it’s challenging – time-wise, not much sleep or free time … but again if it would be easy everyone would do it.

We are looking for an investor because we have a bigger idea for our community – Trackday service was just the start. If someone is reading this and is as passionate as we are about 2wheels – please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
What a question, for all riders – THE Race TRACK and otherwise ACH – on an early Sunday Morning. If you are lucky and ride with us you might run into Jay Leno or other famous car/motorcycle lovers. It’s just beautiful out there, a few hours of peace and a local get away from all the hectic in the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My ride or die, Rafa. I’m very happy to have him with me on this, without him The Moving Moto wouldn’t even exist. I’m the brain he is the muscle! He does all the hard work and his coaching for the new riders is just top! He knows how to explain and is very patient. Without him, there would be no THE MOVING MOTO. As well a big shoutout to Dustin from Trackdaz. He supported us from the beginning and we work very closely together. Trackdaz has over 20 years in the Motorcycle community, he coached at Yamaha Champ School, was racing, etc. He and his team – top.Glad we are a part of it now. As well as Scott Adrian, personal injury lawyer, the lawyer who rides with you and fights for you. Thank you for your support! Incredible lawyer!
