We had the good fortune of connecting with Llesca Emch and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Llesca, what matters most to you?
Integrity. Point blank period. Justice, fairness, and honesty are ingrained in my being, and I feel “integrity” encompasses those values along with others. I believe we all want a better world to live in, but I think it’s also our duty as human beings with a conscious to practice integrity in all things we do, to create that world we want. I’ve been on the receiving end of many hurtful things, and that’s only added to my desire to be an integral human being. Because of my experiences (and conscious), I aim to practice integrity even when nobody is watching.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Music has been a learning and growing journey for me. Around 2015, about a year after my kids’ father passed away, I feel I wasn’t going to pursue music anymore. But I found myself again and slowly but surely, I’ve been gaining confidence in the booth and growing the fire within for my dreams. This music stuff- is tough. But I couldn’t live with myself I didn’t pursue it.

I’ve learned that being authentic and speaking my truth was the hardest for me and I had strayed from my mission and my purpose. “Be the change you want to see in the world”. I want to live by that. And while it wasn’t too long ago that I had FOMO- on “what’s hot” “viral” and being “popular”. I am now at a place that I want to share my voice for good. I want to promote healing, manifesting, love, and so on.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am from LA, but in my adult life I’ve lived in the Inland Empire – Moval and Riverside. So, you’ll see a little variety.
Monday – Redondo Beach and eat some poke there
Tuesday – Oak Glen, walk and have a little quiet time enjoying a warm sunny day
Wednesday – Riverside, downtown night walk, antique shop, tacos from a truck
Thursday – Moreno Valley, bowlero, Carnitas restaurant along with karaoke
Friday – Anywhere, thrifting, yard sale-ing, coffee from Coffeecito in Riverside
Saturday – Santa Monica Pier, JINYA ramen
Sunday – San Pedro and beach, Brouwerij West

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Lil Faded my Producer aka Baller G Music. He’s proven to be a great friend and a supporter of the cause. Making music takes money and I’ve been able to do projects thanks to him without breaking the bank. Additionally, when recording music, he is conducive to the vibe and truly listens to what my goal is for the song, etc. He’s also inclusive when it comes to events that he is invited to partake in, even when it’s not required to have his music peers along. Baller G Music feels like family and with the goal to make it big and help each other and our communities out.
