We had the good fortune of connecting with Lonnie Mintz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lonnie, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
First, I want to mention that I absolutely love being a Realtor! After graduating from college I was presented with the opportunity to become a Realtor. I feel very fortunate to have been a leader and top producer in the industry since I earned my license in 1998. I graduated CSUN with a degree in communications and my ability to listen to my clients allows me to consistently exceed their expectations and provide superior service. The single most important factor/decision that has contributed to my success was making the firm commitment to always support and put my clients needs, wants, desires and goals first by communicating directly with them. I work directly with my clients and never pass them to an assistant….they communicate with me directly. Most industry outsiders are unaware of the time commitment involved in Real Estate. As a small business owner, and Realtor with Rodeo Realty Fine Estates, I am always on call…7 days a week. In many cases my clients, both Sellers and Buyers, are making the largest financial decision of their lives and need to know that I am there to expertly guide them by answering any questions they may have and provide excellent and immediate customer service. Often clients work from 8am to 6pm during the week so they need to chat, view properties in person, schedule inspections, review property, escrow and disclosure information in the early mornings or the late evenings and I am here to help, support and guide them every step of the way!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been a Realtor for over 20 years and my clients appreciate my high level of communication, my detailed knowledge of the market and my passion for my career. There is no substitute for hard work….but it truly doesn’t feel like hard work since I truly love my career. I am thankful every day for find finding a career that I love and am passionate about.
I started at the bottom and made a commitment to work as hard as possible and educate myself in all matters Real Estate. During my college years, I interned for Top Agents with Fred Sands Realty. After graduating CSUN with a degree in communications, I began my full-time career in Real Estate with Sunset Realtors and was quickly recognized for my top sales performance. Sunset Realtors was purchased by Coldwell Banker and in 2002, 2003 and 2004 Lonnie proudly earned Coldwell Banker’s prestigious Diamond Club Award as a Top Producing Agent. After being recruited to Prudential California, I earned the 2006 Honor Award for my top sales performance and was consistently recognized as a top producing Sales Agent. I was recruited to Rodeo Realty in 2013 and have been consistantly recognized as one of Rodeo Realty’s Top Producing Agents earning the prestigious Rodeo Realty President’s Circle Award as a Top Producing Agent every year from 2013 to 2021! I am also a top Zillow, Premiere, 5-Star Agent and am proud of all of my client reviews! I have been recognized in 2021 by LA Magazine as one of Los Angeles’s Top Realtors!
I actively drive traffic to my listings through innovative and results driven advertising and marketing techniques. I am a proven expert in evaluating and developing a custom marketing plan to suit the specific needs of each property. My marketing plan includes professional photography and HD videography, custom property websites, advertising in the Los Angeles Times, online advertising on Zillow.com, Trulia.com, Realtor.com, Facebook.com, International advertising, custom postcards targeting the community and buyers looking for your property, social media and much, much more. Lonnie is an expert Buyer’s Agent. too! Lonnie has in-depth knowledge of the San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley and throughout Los Angeles. Lonnie works hand-in-hand with his buyers from finding their dream home, to making the offer, through inspections to the Close of Escrow!
