Hi Lorenzo, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
The question of whether to keep going or give up is something I think about every day. As a social media content creator, I’ve witnessed firsthand how these platforms can bring people together, fostering connections filled with love and meaning. These experiences fuel my passion to cultivate a positive online community where every interaction strengthens our bonds.

For me, persistence means staying dedicated to creating a space where everyone’s voice can uplift others. It involves learning from setbacks, adjusting my strategies, and genuinely listening to my community. This ensures that we uphold our vision of inclusivity and empowerment.

I remember launching a campaign once that I thought would really resonate with my audience. Unfortunately, it didn’t receive the results I expected, and feedback suggested the message missed the mark. Instead of feeling defeated, I saw it as a chance to learn and improve. I reached out to my community, seeking their honest thoughts and ideas. With their input, I revamped the campaign to better reflect their interests and values. When I relaunched it, the response was overwhelmingly positive, bringing us closer as a community.

Each setback is an opportunity for growth. Embracing these challenges helps us refine our approach while staying true to our core values. It’s about knowing when to adjust course without compromising our mission. The feedback from our community is priceless—it informs when and how to pivot, shaping my content and engagement strategies to resonate deeply with their aspirations.

While my studies in Communication at UCLA provided a solid educational foundation, it was facing criticism and self-doubt early on that shaped me the most. I love this question! Let me tell you about my favorite spots in LA—it’s where I’ve made countless memories! For a perfect breakfast, start at Eggtuck in Westwood. Their breakfast burritos are absolutely delicious, filled with fluffy eggs and crispy tater tots that add a delightful crunch. Beyond the amazing food, Eggtuck holds a special place in my heart as a place where I’ve enjoyed some of the best mornings catching up with friends.

Sawtelle Japantown is a must-visit spot in LA for food enthusiasts. Daikokuya’s Daikoko Ramen is my go-to there, known for its flavorful broth and delicious noodles—it’s a taste of LA’s diverse culinary scene that never disappoints. When you’re ready for dessert, B Sweet Dessert Bar in Sawtelle is the place to be. Their bread pudding, especially in salted caramel flavor, is a treat worth savoring. The cozy atmosphere and delightful desserts make it a perfect stop for anyone craving something sweet and memorable in LA.

If you’re seeking more adventure and breathtaking views, the nearby Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a must! A hike up its trails rewards you with panoramic vistas of Los Angeles, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. Whether you’re enjoying a tranquil afternoon at the steps or exploring the scenic trails, both spots offer unforgettable experiences in the heart of the city.

For those who enjoy shopping, the UCLA Thrift Store in Sawtelle is a hidden gem, offering a treasure trove of unique finds waiting to be discovered. Personally, I’m a huge fan of thrifting. Thrifting not only adds a trendy flair to your wardrobe but also promotes sustainability by giving pre-loved items a new life. Transitioning to Venice, a leisurely stroll along the Venice Canals transports you to a serene oasis amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. Don’t miss the Venice Art Crawl, where local art thrives, adding a creative touch to your visit.

I couldn’t agree more about the importance of recognition! I believe that success is never achieved in isolation. If I had to give a shoutout to someone special, it would undoubtedly be my closest friends, Ira and Janelle. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in me have been absolutely crucial in my journey. Through thick and thin, they’ve been by my side, offering encouragement, empathy, and genuine care. They’ve kept me grounded during tough times and played a pivotal role in my personal growth.

There are also a few books that have profoundly influenced my perspective and approach to my work. ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle has been instrumental in helping me stay present and grounded in the fast-paced world of social media. Additionally, ‘Start with Why’ by Simon Sinek inspired me to always keep the core purpose behind my content in mind, creating with intention and authenticity.

Lastly, I must recognize the incredible online community that has grown around my content.
