We had the good fortune of connecting with Martina Berducci and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Martina, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Authenticity. Valuing and honouring who you are is one of the biggest acts of self-love and that’s when real transformation begins. Living in alignment with your true self will attract more abundance in your life, more meaningful relationships and above all it will guide you to more inner-peace.
There is a quote by one of my favourite female authors, Melissa Ambrosini that says “You are the embodiment of love and you simply being here is a miracle”. A beautiful reminder that you are enough and that it is our birth right to shine in this earth.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I grew up in Italy. I remember that from my bedroom window I would look over ancient olive trees, leafy vineyards and could smell the family lemon tree over the summer months. For me, food has always been synonymous with sharing, caring, nourishing and comforting! When I think of a moment of joy in my childhood, I tend to go back to those beautiful memories of sitting around the dinner table (beautifully arranged by my mum!), eating a delicious home-cooked meal in the good company of close friends and family. Those times were always filled with laughter and a big appreciation for the food on the table.
Years later, I moved to the urban life of London, working for some of the most prestigious and internationally renowned hotel brands. I had amazing opportunities which led me to travel the world (Milan, Chicago, Tokyo, Hong Kong) and to work closely with some fantastic lifestyle brands including Tom Ford, Prada and Patek Philippe. My past experiences allowed me to see the world with an open mind, curiosity and above all it gave me the chance to ‘connect’ with extraordinary people (especially women!) all over the world. As glamourous as it might all sound, I always worked very hard and got to a point when I was trying to cope with sleepless nights due to jetlag, feeling lonely at times after being away from home and from the people that I love and ultimately spending long hours in the office after having skipped lunch and barely eaten any breakfast.
What happened next? Well, the inevitable happened…I burned out. I spent so long functioning on autopilot that I forgot how to enjoy life and be present without worrying too much about the past or the future. I had forgotten at least momentarily how to nourish my body through nutritious and delicious food, just like in the old days back in my home in Italy. I would be dealing with endless cravings and not knowing how to stop. I knew that I had to do something and I had to figure it out somehow. So as soon as I returned home from a work trip, I decided to spend the following weekend away from any possible distraction and I tapped into all of the things that really made me happy. I realised that nothing lit me up more than taking great care of myself. I realised I had to take back control of my health, my life, and my happiness. This ultimately led me to enrol at IIN, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, to get my holistic health coaching certification. I started implementing small changes into my routine that started to make a huge difference in my life. How we feed and treat our bodies is a direct reflection of how we truly feel about ourselves.
I established a private Wellness & Health Coaching practice to support career women, moms, working moms and female entrepreneurs with a busy lifestyle as I truly believe that it is our birth right to thrive in life.

My family and my closest girlfriends (you know who you are!) never stopped believing in me. Their unconditional love and support kept me going, made me want to work so consistently hard and never give up. My heart is also so full of joy thanks to my incredible community and clients who trusted me along this journey. Focus on what you love and surround yourself with people that only wish you the best!
