We had the good fortune of connecting with Maxi E. Norman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Maxi E., how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Elnora Maxwell is a small business bouquet that specializes in business support, event planning & broadcast media show production. The idea to come up with this business was birthed from me being a helper. I have spent the last 20 years in corporate america as an executive assistant , doing customer service and planning events. So I wanted to start a business that helps small businesses function on the same level as the super big corporations. The smaller the business doesn’t mean less quality. My motto is to help you Glow through whatever it is your going through.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am self- published author of a daily affirmation book with a journal called All My Broken Crayons Still Color, I am the owner of Elnora Maxwell LLC its small business bouquet that gives admin support help to small businesses. Elnora Maxwell also does event planning as well. I am also known as the Super Producer because I am the Executive producer of a show called Radical Radio which is a show that streams via Facebook and YouTube and is also a podcast designed to get to the heart of the guests story in the most Radical way and Paint & Release a show that streams live via Facebook and YouTube where guest come to create a space for creatives’ voices are heard through transparent dialogue while releasing through artistic expression. Getting to where I am now wasn’t easy. I got to where I am today because I assist in bringing people’s dreams into full color. I strive to have the same passion for my work as the client have for there idea , business, or event.
I have endured plenty of challenges including going to jail, losing my father, and even losing hearing in my left ear. I believe that my mess has become my message to showing people that no matter what this Life brings you can be whatever you want. Its all about your mindset not allowing the negative things in your life to stop you from achieving the goals and dreams you have. That you may bend beyond what you ever could imagine but you will not break.
I want the world to know that even in your unbrokenness you can still stand tall and be proud of who you are. That you don’t have to be perfect. That you don’t have to be Okay but no matter what you are Enough! You are able and capable to do and have it all.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Entrepreneurship is not for the Weak and I definitely would not have been able to start my business without the support of my family especially my sister Rita Y. Norman and LaDena Chisum. On the days I wanted to quit and give up they both were there to help push my through and sometimes believe in my dreams more than me. Also the book the pushed me and allow me to see my vision come full circle was All My Broken Crayons Still Color written by Me. ( Maxi E. Norman ) The daily affirmation book with the journal included has motivated me to continue inspiring and encouraging not only myself but others to always strive to be great
