We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan DiVincenzo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Megan, what principle do you value most?
The value that means the most to me is to be unapologetically authentic! I say this because everyone is so concerned what everyone thinks….especially in this age of social media. Everyone is always watching, judging, forming opinions of you, your business, your family. And I feel as though everyone slaps a filter on their life to make the viewers feel more comfortable. But I have zero interest in doing that. I am happiest when I a Unapologetically myself….and my circle appreciates it and knows they are getting ME in every comment, story, podcast, event! You will never make everyone happy…so why not just make YOURSELF happy and the loyal ones will follow! My business has grown and I believe a lot of it is because my customers and followers know they will get true Megan in every step!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is my insane and insatiable ability to always be “on” creatively. I literally can dream up a product, a branding, campaign, a marketing idea, etc. that is so unordinary and off the cuff at any time! I hear all the time I need a vacation; but I do NOT need a vacation from my own life. I am happiest when I’m creating. I feel lethargic and out of place when I try to suppress it or take long breaks!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Tremont/Ohio City for amazing food! We love Dante, Luca Downtown, Flour! Obviously we love Italian food. I also adore the Hilton Rooftop bar! What an amazing view of the lake and the city I’m so proud of! Obvi I would take them to a Browns game; King Baker always put on the best shows!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The Skinny Confidential has been such an amazing mentor to me! Her values. her worth ethic. her unapologetic self, her branding! I also would be NOWHERE without my husband who is my biggest fan! He allows me to be myself and I couldn’t grow this business without his support!
