We had the good fortune of connecting with Nain Padilla and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nain, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking

Taking risks is very important. It’s a part of Growth and Risking it all for a dream that you only believe in and see in the moment. I took the risk when I decided to stop studying Civil engineering and pursue my career in music in 2013. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into but I took the risk to tell my parents and tell them this wasn’t for me and I wasn’t happy. Even though they didn’t understand at the time my parents still decided to support me and I’m am forever grateful for that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m proud of myself and the man I’m becoming everyday. I’ve seen so much growth in me. I’m still here in this marathon and still going through every emotion, not giving up & embracing my Journey.” God, My family, my passion, my drive, my vision, My hunger to succeed in life and be able to take care of family, and be an example, an inspiration for others and for my story to motivate others that have a dream . It hasn’t been easy at all, but God has been walking with me every step of the way. I fell in love with the process. I always knew this wasn’t going to be easy, but I feel like going through this journey has taught me so much an it built my character and made me humble. I appreciate life more and it has taught me not to take things for granted. I want the world to remember me for my pure heart and intentions, my kindness and humbleness, my love towards people and always wanting others to win and succeed. I want them to know I was never afraid to show support and love.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would probably take them to the beach Malibu, Santa Monica or Palos Verdes.Also go get some good tacos some tacos poblanos, or maybe go to the Grand central market in Downtown La. I like Ramen to so maybe we can go to Korea Town and eat some good ramen. After maybe we can hit the studio. But it also depends what my friend trying to do.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First of all I want to thank God and my parents if wasn’t for them none of this would’ve been possible. I lost my Dad 4 years ago so is been hard. I only have my mom now thats with me supporting me so I want make her proud and give her everything she deserves. Even do my father is not here I hold his wisdom his teachings and his big heart. I am the man I am today because of them. Also shoutout my old barber Ricky Marin he’s the real reason I got into producing; he had a little set up in his back house where it all started. Big shout out to my brother Yung Brodiee, he’s a recording artist from LA that reached out to me in my early beginnings of my career. I posted a video on instagram and he liked my sound and then he ended up inviting to me to Studio519. Studio519 is a recording studio which is owned by Alex Casares, an Entrepreneur from Los Angeles. This is where I got to meet people like Ivan, Bobby, Appeal, Xstasy, IV, Chavez, Seouless and Pru some of these people still play a big role in my life. My brother Pru for example he’s a platinum producer and engineer from Peru living in Los Angeles and Latin Grammy Nominated that I got to meet at Studio 519 he gave me the opportunity to work with him and by collaborating with him, I am in the position that I am now forever grateful for that. We’re still working together and making magic so stay tune! Another person I want to shout out is my Girlfriend thankful for her for always being supportive and understanding because I know how crazy this industry can be. Also my brother Marvin Garcia a U.S. + LATIN AMERICA Events and Partnerships Specialist From LA this man has done so much for me in such little time and so much to come from the two of us. Two Salvadorians putting on for there culture. Last but most importantly, my daughter, I do it for her future and her smile.
