We had the good fortune of connecting with Nina Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nina, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
There is a true gift in using artistry and creativity to produce an actual viable income. I chose to pursue this career path because ultimately I wanted to be able to have complete freedom along with full control of my own success. I wanted freedom! The freedom to think outside of the box, the freedom to create my own destiny, the freedom to decide when, how, and where to work. I pursued this creative career because it challenged me to actually utilize all parts of my brain in order to produce the most beautifully received pieces of art as well as structure a business that supports my family and lifestyle.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I practice the art of framing peoples faces by creating beautiful luxurious permanent eyebrows. Each clients face is my canvas and I focus on the most intricate details to ensure a flawless finish. I am so excited each time I step into my studio to create because I know that I am giving each woman eyebrows of their dreams.  I am not satisfied until they are beyond satisfied. It took a ton of time, patience, and dedication to perfect my craft, but all of the things I have learned along the way have brought me to where I am today.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The ideal best time ever for me and my bestie would include a lot of different things but for sure I’d start our day with some freshly pressed green juice from rainbow juices and then we’d go to the Culver City stairs for some invigorating cardio. When lunchtime rolls around we would head over to under the sun in Long Beach for some raw living foods to fuel me for the rest of my day. I really love shopping for home decor so if I have some free time in the afternoon you can catch me at any home improvement store or home decoration outlet like world market or home goods. In preparation for a very fulfilling sleep I’d book us a visit to a spa for a Korean body scrub and a heavy handed Swedish massage followed by facial.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want dedicate this shout out to my life partner Cliff. He has really been my rock. Before PreciseGlow became successful, he was there to keep everything going smoothly at home even when I was gone long hours ! He was also the investor, the handy man , the janitor and the security. I’ll always be thankful.
