We had the good fortune of connecting with Noa Keimach and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noa, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I honestly wasn’t planning on starting a “business” it was more just a passion. I started customizing my kids jackets, adding their names and painting them and it went from there!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve painted my entire life and I’ve always been into fashion, only recently was I able to combine both passions! I started painting on denim jackets and then one day I got a request for a pair of custom painted Air Force 1’s. Those sneakers became a big hit because they’re popular with everyone, all ages and can work in almost any season! I’ve also been painting Uggs and Birkenstocks, which I love working on too!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ooooh, this is hard because LA has so many incredible restaurants…but I would probably start with breakfast at PCPLA on Fairfax or Kings Road Cafe for brunch, Erewhon for lunch or a smoothie..we would definitely need to either go for a hike at Runyon or head to Malibu for the beach and dinner at either The Tower Bar or Republique!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family!! There have been so many times that my 3 little kids have played independently while I’ve worked on orders and my husband has held down the fort!!
