Meet Noe Zepeda | Content creator & Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Noe Zepeda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Noe, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
I would say that one thing about being a content creator, that outsiders are probably unaware of is that we constantly live in limbo. What I mean by that is, we are in constant fear of what’s to come next. Are people going to keep watching or even care, can I keep up with this lifestyle, am I good enough, is everything going to end soon. There is no sense of security.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a proud Mexican-American man who also happens to be gay. As you may understand, I grew up with a lot of machismo ideologies and was always told how to act and how not to act. Having said that, I always had a dream of being an actor. Since I was a little kid, I remember watching TV and thinking I will do that one day. I was born to entertain people. I am proud to say that I can do that for a living now. Entertain. Growing a platform of over a million followers was not easy and came with a lot of tribulations. From my family not understanding why I would wear makeup and wigs to getting backlash from your typical machistas online. I feel like I’ve done a great job of not allowing the noise to derail me from my destiny. I have one dream and one life and I don’t intend on wasting them.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am from a small town in Salinas, California and I love how much Mexican culture there is here. First of all, let’s get to the most important thing “food”. I would take them to my favorite places like “La Paloma” a famous taco truck in town and also “El Charrito” where you can get the best burritos in town and perhaps the country. Then I would drive them to Monterey Bay which is only like 20 minutes away from my town and also happens to be where I attended college. Monterey Bay has one of the best aquariums which fun fact inspired the aquarium for the movie, finding Dory. Then I would take them to all the beaches in Monterey which are stunning but my favorite of them being “Lovers Point” a super cute beach with crystal blue water like if you were in the movie “MOANA”.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shout out to my parents for always supporting and believing in me. I’m proud to come from two beautiful people who migrated to America from Mexico with a dream of making a life for themselves and giving their children a better life. I can proudly confirm they have done that and beyond more. They are my drive and the reason I am here today. I love them with all my soul.
