We had the good fortune of connecting with noemi cruciani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi noemi, how does your business help the community?
MUSES is a STORYTELLER that collects stories of contemporary Women from different parts of the World, bringing positive and empowering messages to the world, and sets them to MUSIC. Our purpose is to leave remarkable tracks of these stories for the future generations to be inspired by them.

MUSES wants to tell in music stories of women that deserve attention and recognition while involving other women working together to develop a project to uplift everyone that will be touched from our MUSES stories , from their enthusiasm and determination in pursuing their goals and dreams despite adversities.

One song at a time, MUSES wants to bring together a community around individual supporters that are drawn to a particular story. Over time MUSES will bring together diverse groups that share common beliefs about the world/ideas about social change on different issues and levels. All of this will be done telling stories about brave women with the purpose to empower other women and individuals in diverse communities.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
MUSES really started to take shape during the Pandemic and the great thing I can say about our organization is that, despite distances (Rome, L.A., Istambul , Boston, Cita Del Mexico), time differences and the heavy atmosphere that this period make us all living at times, the entire MUSES team has been able to push trough the hard work, get virtually together and start giving life to this great Journey without ever loosing the enthusiasm for it.

MUSES is a STORYTELLER that collects stories of contemporary Women from different parts of the World and sets them to MUSIC. Our purpose is to leave remarkable tracks of these stories for the future generations to be inspired by them. to empower others
MUSES works hard to research, find stories, and use the power of music and art to advocate for social empowerment education. We personally interview these women and we transform their stories in songs inspired by their own words.

Our MUSES have in common the POWER of believing in their own goals and passions in life. They are strong women doing positive acts for others while pursuing their own visions either in personal or professional paths.

We want to use Pop music as a common universal language influenced by traditional music to reach the widest range of population keeping , at the same time, the authenticity of the cultural backgrounds these women are coming from.

I’m the Creator and Founder of MUSES, I’m a professional Singer Songwriter and Designer. This duality in arts and business gave me the chance to keep an open mind about transversal opportunities and ideas to develop MUSES and search for creative solutions , connecting it to other worlds not only related to music.

I’ve been living and working quite a lot in the past 5 years in different countries such as Mozambique, Egypt, the USA of course and in the Middle East and had the chance to gain experience in projects for social changes purposes either in Music and in the Design field.

Through these experiences ,and moved by an personal interest about the gender equality issue, I had the chance to analyze the social roles and lack of recognization of women in many fields and so I started to feel the necessity to search and bring out more examples of WOMEN being talented or successful in their own fields or doing inspirational acts of changes in the world.
Being able to tell these stories in MUSIC, through songs, would have been a great way to express art while being of help to others.

As part of such an inspiring and international environment as Berklee College of Music is, gave me opportunity to get in contact with talented artists that are today part of a Team made by mainly women, from all over the world (Italy , Slovenia, Mexico, Turkey, USA, Colombia ) and working in different roles !

With me is working an amazing Team without which this project would have never take shape.
Starting from Gaia Leone (Bertinelli Sound) ,amazing head Producer and groovy Bassist; Esin Aydingoz , magical Orchestrator and pianist ; Klementina Milosic , fantastic Marketing Manager; Jimena Caballero , powerful Singer-songwriter ; Bengisu Onal : our super PR and Martina Albano , phenomenal Mastering Engineer.
Not least our really important collaborators: Leonardo Bertinelli, Rebecca Marti, Leah Bluestein, Claudia Medina, Radi el Zhoubi , Edoardo Santini E Samuel Cerra Longo

Our goal is to create a MOVEMENT to empower people through our music and stories. Our message will be delivered through our worldwide distributed tracks, live shows and coming initiatives such as “Inspired by YOUR muses” opened to artists of all kind to create a community and empower people through arts inspired by women’s stories.

MUSES stories will be left to the future generations as remarkable tracks to be a good influence for people as the ancient greek “MUSES” did in the mythological history, giving humans INSPIRATION!

Our first single release “Breathe the air of peace” is out now. It tells the story of the amazing Janna Tamimi “The youngest journalist in the world”.

MUSES is a young project and we surely have a long way to go but we are ready to keep developing ourselves and overcome any difficult time with passion and commitment for our mission!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As a lover of foreign cultures I love being around the Little Tokio Art District and eat sushi at Little Tokyo Sushi . Then I’ll definitely mention the best Korean bbq in LA : Park’s Bbq. If you’re really hungry and ready for a great asian food experience got there, everything you order always comes with a menagerie of side dishes and all they have is fresh and delicious. As a street art lover I would definitely mention The Arts district in Downtown and actually many other spots with beautiful street art pieces around the city, to maybe shoot interesting, colorful and fun music videos. I would highlight the Grammy Museum for music lovers.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The first 3 MUSES we had the chance to interview and write our first 3 songs about :
