We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Thrill$ and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randy, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Work, life, and passion are all 3 things that are extremely essential to me. Working a full-time professional job, playing soccer at a semi-professional level, and doing music professionally are significant parts of my life I’ve had to learn to balance over the years. I still don’t believe I’m at the level where I can say I’ve archived all key areas to the maximum. However, I with much confidence, I’ve been on the right track for many years. Although my end goals can seem far reached to others, that only drives me more to enable myself to adapt newer ways to balance my job and passions at a higher level.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Long story short, my “Journey” has not been easy, and the crazy part about it is that it’s just beginning.

At a younger age dreamed I of being a professional soccer player, and ironically still believe God can make a way somehow.

But as life takes its own path, I decided had to go through the cooperate ladder and work a few unpleasant jobs in order to get to the level I’m at now. I also had to learn various coping methods and open myself up to learn Great skills, from a number of exceptional colleagues along the way.

I believe the level of my “creative life” meaning my music, has all been subject to hard work, and lack of fear. I’ve built my brand to be a visually strong and attractive brand, that people talk about, and are always excited to see what I’ve got coming next.

I want all creatives to know that the ideology of “making it” does not always have to result in riches or high popularity. It can be simple, constantly think about ways you can simplify your “end goal”. That’s what I’ve done throughout, and it’s helped me be at peace with myself and I’ve achieved a lot of my desired goals along the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Brisbane is huge, I’d probably take them up north to the Sunshine Coast to see the beautiful beaches of North Queensland. We’ll then hit the streets of Brisbane City and enjoy the various bars and food spots. Then of course head to Gold Coast to party hard. I’m sure this all should take about a week.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To be honest my shoutout goes to my Lord Jesus Christ and my family.

Yes, I have many inspirations from other musicians, actors, and sports athletes. But my ultimate shoutout goes to God. Without him giving me the strength, Knowlege, and passion I don’t think I’d be where I am today.
