Meet Romina Valenti: Dog trainer; actriz and dancer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Romina Valenti and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Romina, what principle do you value most?
I think in regards to having a business a principle that I try to follow is being of service, providing something that will bring value to somebody else’s life. Remembering that no one owes you anything no matter how much knowledge you have about something, the humbleness, respect and work must be the same. Sadly I don’t remember who said this (and it’s not an exact quote) but a video I saw said, the end goal shouldn’t be more money, a car, buying your mom a house, the goal should be being of service with whatever you do because then it’s something higher than you working through you, and through that you’ll obtain all those secondary things mentioned.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me apart from other artists (dancers and actors in this case) is my dog training, many might not know how much that has impacted the other two areas of expression. What I’m most proud of is that I started with 0 and I can look back and see how far I’ve come.
I got to where I am today with surviving instinct and hard work, it wasn’t easy but I was always protected and guided by the higher power, knowing that everything I was going through was exactly what I was supposed to go through.
I want people reading this to know to keep going, keep moving, one foot after the other.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hmm. I don’t think I’ll meet your expectations with this answer haha. But if my best friend would come visit me we’d do very simple things, you see I come from a very simple country. We’d go to the beach, on a hike, drink a glass of wine or a beer and just laugh. Maybe rent a cabin somewhere and enjoy each other’s presence.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom. Always my mom.
